Are there any leaks in your bubbler? Place a bit of bearing grease or vaseline on the thread to tighten better and seal any leaks. Do you have any type of oxygen sensor manipulator? I think that car is not carbureted?
Ya im installing mine tomorrow, we will see. I havent posted a video ever so thats new to me too. I do not have a bubbler and do not need one. My unit is not enclosed and is something totally different from the stuff seen on here. Ill be running a scangauge 2 as well. Looking forward to it. I should have video in 1 week or so. look for it :)
I have some family in Dalmeny, just north of Saskatoon... I went there for Christmas one year, the weather there SUCKED! There were no trees to slow the wind down, -45C and colder... So, when your dog runs away, you can still see him running 2 days later, right? :)
It does seem to have alot of crud that shows up after a while, but I installed a large plug in the top of the tank, and a drain cock in the bottom, add a garden hose and it's clean(ish).
I am always open to new ideas, the NaCl mix I have been using seems to produce extremely well compared to the sodium bicarbonate solution I was using earlier. It may smell like a swimming pool behind my car, but it's free gas right? The cost and ready availability of Sodium Chloride was another factor that drew me to it. You can even hop into McDicks and grab a few packets of salt, throw em into a water bottle and instant electrolyte!
I was getting overheating I also needed a solution that wouldnt freeze . Im trying sodium bisulfate but who knows. IT lowers PH for pools (acidic) I dont want a Alkaline mix such as lye. My plates are -NN+NN- and thats it and its drawing 8-9 amps stable over a 10 min period in a shallow bath. It is not drawing more amps in that time and obviously not getting hot. Im sure ill catch heat about some sort of poison vapor as to which ill go to citric acid. Just a thought man ( no orange sludge)
R U trying help the enviroment or to kill it faster, salt is the worst U can use. try KOH/NaOH. salt will be taken out with the gas more expensive in the long run. KOH/NaOH stays behind in the cell unless you are boiling it.
I can buy a pound of pickling salt for $0.33 so price is not an issue. I imagine that the Egyptians tried running salt in their chariots and wrecked the oceans many moons ago. What will we do. Are you bored???
to much electrolytes are causing the fuses being blown

What solution seems to bring you the best results?

As in production/flow rates.

did you bothered to research the effects of salt as an electrolite? and I dont mean conducting more current than plain water.

Besides the poisonous gas and the fact that salt will corrode almost everything... Fill me in, what did I miss?

do you know how that gas affects D Engine?

one of your byproducts with running salt is chlorine gas.. not a very safe byproduct if you ask me..
