might wanna check on that, son. war in europe started in 1939. d-day was june 1944, when americans set foot on continent in force. by then, russia had taken & given wehrmacht a beating and denied germans vital oil in caucases. the reich was pretty much out of gas and on borrowed time by d-day. we, america, did our bit, but don't underestimate cost paid and role of others.

Not really, Believe it or not we actually turned the tide of the war.Operation Torch, The US forces along with the brave British troops, defeated Hitler at the Battle of El alamein. Which stopped Hitler from getting to the Middle east for oil. But the immunity given by the US to its forces and the mercenaries is illegal and against international law. Iraq was nothing to do with 9/11 and also i suspect 9/11 was an inside job - probably the work of the currupt elite with more balls than brains.

The reason soldiers do international service in country's like iraq and afghanistan is because we are helping to stabelize the situation in the country where they got a civil war going on. In iraq they got a corrupted government and gerillia soldiers are attacking the food service to keep it from the poor people and give it to more powerfull peoples. Soldiers are sent down there to deffend civils from soldiers down in that country, not to keep them away from us. Thats my point of wiew.

However, now that the war has started and that soldiers have been deploied, I sincerely hope that each an every single one of them gets back home to their families alive.
