@MRahlie eeeeasy.....if you pay attention you can nottice a red seal on the bottom of every glass...when on the dispencer the seal is lifted allowing the beer to flow in....when the glass is lifted the seal comes down and seals the bottom..

there's a check valve at the bottom of the cup...when pressed in place it allows the beer to fill up ...and when taken off the check valve closes...there ya go

A disc in the bottom is pushed up and beer flows in. Then when taken off, the disc in the bottom gets pushed down by the weight of the beer making an air tight seal. Quite simple but EXTREMELY effective.

They use a small magnet at the bottom to use as a stopper after the machine stops pouring a pre-determined amount (like a soda fountain). That magnet you can actually take home as a souvenir to stick your wonderful colorings of orange elephants with the orange all outside of the lines.
