I've read Dianetics and found it to be one of the most superficial, pseudo-scientific and unreasonable texts I've ever read in my entire life (and i'm an avid reader who gets through about 2 books per week on average). In fact, Dianetics is one of the very few books that I've never bothered discussing with other people. I found myself struggling to stay awake b/c it was so boring, unbelievable and impractical. It read like pulp fiction combined with really lame self help. Poorly written, as well

The reason he doesn't answer questions is that he has taken many $cientology "courses" on communication which have allowed him to take an honest, straight forward question directed towards him and ask another question that criticizes the interviewer. Rather than responding with a "yes" or "no", he goes on about "blahblahblah once said that his cousins son went to blahblah, then he wrote a book and therefore $cientology is wonderful." He's a fucking lunatic and should be treated as such.
