  • I used to pick at my skin too. It was worse during my deep depression and stress. I catch myself every once in a while doing it again and I stop immediately. Keep your mind and hands busy. Learn some relaxation techniques. Remember to breath deeply a few times a day. Sending you Love and Light.

  • @WillowDove40 Thanks! I got through the first four days, and then a few more (not sure how many), but today I keep doing it, both consciously and subconsciously. I'm not beating myself up over it, though. Tomorrow is another day!

  • I read your blog and I have been the same way for years. I actually have a few scars from picking pimples and scabs. I have tried to stop before and have done it where I went weeks or months without picking but like you when I get stressed I start to do it more.

  • @rainbowbrite24 Oh yeah, stress ALWAYS makes it worse. It's so hard to stop, especially when you're stressed. That's good that you've been able to cut it down so much, though.
