Personally, I would include the muslims plaguing the sovereign rights of Britain, France, and Sweden. Usually when the muslim population gets to around 35% in a country, they start to get belligerent in demanding special treatment, separate sharia law, etc. We've even seen that ugly head reared in Dearborn, MI. Personally, I would include the muslims plaguing the sovereign rights of Britain, France, and Sweden. Usually when the muslim population gets to around 35% in a country, they start to get belligerent in demanding special treatment, separate sharia law, etc. We've even seen that ugly head reared in Dearborn, MI. I don't say muslims deserve less rights than the rest of us, but I DO say they bear constant watching, and a wary eye.

I think this was actually a good thing to say, because it included the areas of Virgin Islands and Guam and basically said, "Hey, you're just as much a part of the American family as anyone from the first 50 States." 10 - 0.1 = 9.9.
9.9 * 0.1 = 99
99 * 100 = 9900.
10% is a 9900% increase on 0.1. Ergo, 10% would be 9900% off the mark, in standing with the context of Bergen's erroneous claim.
Also, it is worth pointing out that Fareed's point is not to mock Beck's mathematics, but to point out the bizarre and overblown nature of his claims. In this respect, I believe it is a simple, easy to overlook, minor error.

Saying that people that advocate terrorism are not part of the problem is not a true statement. It is the very LARGE population (note I did not say majority) of Muslims that hold up these zealots as virtuous that are more of a problem than the terrorists themselves. It is those that advocate, or even sympathize with terrorists that allow the thought processes of terrorism to manifest in actual attacks. When I first read about this at HuffPo, I did the math wrong (157 million is 10% of X) and almost commented that there weren't even 1.5 trillion people on the planet, let alone 1.5 trillion Muslims. Glad I caught that mistake.

I own a 2,000 sq ft home in a great neighborhood with a 2 car garage and I pay less than half what my sister pays for a tiny apartment in a crime and scum ridden big city. If you want to talk about blue areas and the economy, go study blue areas and the massive debt and taxes they force on their populace. California is insolvent. NY and MA are next.

@BriansVideoHobby That's simply not true. Yes, somebody in rural Oklahoma doesn't have as high a cost of living as somebody in Los Angeles, but there are fewer economic opportunities in a shithole areas. Look at the data.
And if you want to talk about taxes, look at my native Holland or Sweden or Switzerland or any other successful European nation. They all have much higher taxation, but they get more out of the government, and it is more sustainable in general.
