My neighbour grows grapes.. We actually have a few grapevines on the side of the house. Can't wait to eat them. Unfortunatly i can't take credit for growing them :). It was already there.
@vidaripollen I'm sure the birds think it's a spectacular success : ) If you want grapes for yourself though, either plant more grapes, or eat more birds! : ) Maybe cats
@Helioforge haha! you r real natural forest gardener now.you right.completely.onle 4 grape vines, thats problem.the sapota which yields about a ton this year, with about 25 trees, theres no problem.birds n bats eat about couple hunderd fruit but theres plenty left to sell or give away.
@Helioforge Cats are good. We have loads of fruit and it hardly gets touched. Even if you don't want to keep a cat yourself if you put out a bit of dried cat food and some water you can can get the same effect for nearly free.
Looks like you got a baby cherry tree. I would like to know: Do you eat cherries from the existing cherry tree? How many years do you expect it to take to start harvesting from the young one you started?
@field16 Last year the birds and squirrels got most of the cherries, the the few we ate tasted exactly as they should : ) The new one might take a few years, and a few more because it was planted directly under the squirrel's nest!
You cover a lot of ground in one minute forty five seconds! Looking very nice. Thank you for the advise on the mould. It worked! I mean it worked to get rid of the mould. The seedlings were weak to begin with. They suffered being outside but once they were back in, they seemed to bounce back and no more mould. I planted some of the seedlings outside already. They seem to be doing better there. Cool about the grape plants! Thanks again.
Hi Katie, thanks, there's also a lilac shrub out front, with purple flower clusters starting to open up : ) The goose was probably getting ready to go back up there, a sure sign it's warming up : )
i just can't get over how much everything is growing pete! and it all looks like it's doing so well! .. =D .. people still can't plant around here b/c it's still too cold. however, the farmers are at least tilling up fields right now. so, that's a good sign .. =D .. i'm definitely looking forward to seeing how things go in your beds and your test patch! and that was a great little visitor you had (the goose)! .. =D

@JaxRL Wow, I'm happy it worked, (maybe a bit surprised too, lol) Every surface but the plants was covered completely!
