Seriously, compare the two. Michael Jackson is a legend, no doubt about it. But his dancing, although genius, is repetitive and completely over used. His tours in the 90's were terrible because it was just replicas of stuff he'd done before, but now with a bigger budget. Michael Jackson stopped singing live in the 80's. And constantly as an artist, Madonna is tons better. Each album breaks some sort of record. Most people i know cant name Jacksons last album (which was crap for the most part).
