OK, which model of the Pod X3 is this? Is it the POD X3 Pro, or POD X3 Live or just POD 3X Line 6. This Pat Metheny sound is just tremendous. I'd like to get it...
Hi, Your tone is so refined - ethereal even. I have a X3 bean as well, can you tell me how you achieved your sound? Did you modify one of the native acoustic patches? Thanks for the insight, and again, beautiful work.
I made my own acoustic patch. Tt´s based on the line 6 clean amp with no treble, mid and pres, than the large hall reverb and a stereo square chorus. Hope it helps.
I would cut a minimal amount of bass out of your EQ because my speakers started to distort and rumble from too much bass at :39.
If you have an automation function on your recording program that can be used with the EQ you could just apply it to that part and maybe 1:33 ---> 1:45 as well because your tone is actually quite nice, maybe a bit too much modulation for my tastes but nevermind.
It sounds really good, although quite different from the original. Did you improvise on this, because the original seems to be much simpler and there's less going on. I really like the electric sound with lots of reverb. It's a cool variation from the original purely acoustic sound.
the first part is a cover of the original opening theme, the second part is another original part, but not the opening one. I think it´s called brokeback mountain 1.
I just listened again and had to give you 5 stars. I can play the opening part, but haven't tried the brokeback mouintain 1. Together it sounds like a complete guitar piece. I'll definitely learn this. Thanks again for posting this.
I wouldn't watch the movie BBM for a years free movie tickets, but your experimenting with acoustic guitar is interesting. Are you using Feedback Buster rubber plug in soundhole.
I didn´t use a rubber plug in soundhole for this recording, because i did just go from the pod X3 into the usb of my PC and listened through headphones. When i use the guitar live i use it sometimes on higher volume to avoid feedback.
I couldn´t manage to get a decent audio and a good quality video. I had to choose either a good audio or video. I decided in case of music the audio is more important. If you could manage to get both: a good stereo audio and a high definition video please upload a video and tell us how. unforunetly all videos i upload are at least a bit out of sync, and the better the audio the more they are.
That was beautiful. Great job.

Song sounds nice but why would you even post a video so outta sync with the audio?
