Any ideas what caused it? Maybe fumes from a gas generator sparked by a bilge pump, de-humidifier down below, or just unattended burner of somesort. and those were boston accents. My brother watched one burn to the water line right down the road at the ramps at sandsprit park, owner didnt run his blowers.
We saw this from our home! It is by the Grace of God and the Boat US captian and Martin Co. Fire Department that no one was injured. Also the Capt. of the vessel was onboard and acted quickly to get off. The boat was cut loose when the flames burnt the mooring lines. Amazing work by all!
The Martin County Fire Department leaves me speechless...These guys are relentless, fearless; I commend each and every firefighter. Wow...what an eye-opener! They need a reality show!

That sucks. Great job by the tow boat captain though getting it moved out that could have been a lot worse than just 2 boats.
