  • where did you find those tips at? i am looking for a set if 2.25 inlet 18inch long with a 4inch outlet. cant find em anywhere.

  • sounds horrible man. First thing to do is slap you a flowmaster on there, and then take the mud flaps off. Youll like the sound of it 10x better with a flowmaster.

  • Truck sounds like a fart in a can, Leave the cats on, and put a muffler on it cause chevys sound shitty as fuck with no cats or mufflers, or no muffler and thats it.

  • sounds horrible! sounds like shaking a rock in a beer can..

  • does straight pipeing cause a value to burn out of something sounds like yours and other straight piped trucks tick at idle and driveing

  • I think I am going to leave the cats on mine.

  • it might be the bends and turns then..

  • dekeyz. i have no cats. 4in tips. but theres not alot of difference between 2.5 and 2.25..

  • dekeyz. i have no cats. 4in tips.

  • Hey tyandmax 2 possible reasons for different sound? 1? His piping is smaller.2. does yours have cats?

  • the taillights and the mud flaps ruin it, but sounds nice

  • i dont get it...i have the same truck....350 with true dual (2.5 in exhaust pipes) to 4in tips...and it does have the same crackel. what do i need to do? is his truck different?

  • @tyandmax1 yours should sound exactly like this one if you dont have cats and a quarter of an inch on the piping does make a difference but not a lot.

  • i dont get it.....i have the same truck....350 with true dual (2.5 in exhaust pipes) with 4 inch tips....and it doesnt have that same sound......what do i need to do?

  • So damn loud but sweet.

  • i had a 91 chevy k1500 and i have straight pipes on it with angle tips and it was loud. mine had good throtle response and it would set of car alarms. lol

  • Gettin True Dual Straights w/ Cat Backs on my 88 F350 with a 460. Gunna be settin off car alarms

  • put some bigger tips on it

  • are those American Racing Baja wheels? i'm deciding between those and Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels for my Suburban

  • sounds nice with all that crackle!!!

  • That sounds like shit. Sounds like an old ass lawn mower with a rusted through muffler --- it just pops. The truck has absolutely NO TONE, just raspy. Plus it's got gay mud flaps and ricer taillights...

  • what size of pies are you runing on it ?, what size of motor ?

  • sweet truck. lose theskate shoes

  • that thing sounds rowdy

ive thought about doing a cat delete on my 2500HD 6.0L with 2.5 true duals but im thinking im loud enough as it is lol

  • sounds soooo awesome man

  • all i have to say is....your truck is gay

  • ahh okay you got nothing on there i see now haha put a flowmaster on that 95

  • why does that thing sound like its takin a shit.

    i have a 95 chevy silverado 5.7l v8 350 with a single 3in in and dual 2.5 out and a flowmaster super 44 sounds beautiful

  • you are a fucking moron. k thanks

  • need some glass packs?

  • I have 84 chevy pu 350 with cam 3" duals with flowmaster muffles would drowned that thing out. All day long. BUY SOME MUFFLERS! They sound better not to mention its hard on the valves!

  • what size pipes sounds like 2 inch or somthing i have the same set upwith headers and dont have nearly that muck rap unless i hammer on it

  • @47redneck47 - how much it racks also has to do with what size tips you have on there. i have mine true straighted like this with 4x22 tips and its sounds fucking badass.

  • yea i got smaller 3x8 tips with rolled ends and headers and i love the way it sounds

  • It sounds badass being straight piped.

  • the mudflaps ar egay

  • nice I like that set up very much, I like how it pops, that just sounds bad ass

  • thats ama-za-zing. one of the best sounding trucks no lie

  • that thing sounds so bad ass.

  • Where can I get mud flaps like that?

    oh and bad ass truck

  • best sounding truck on youtube

  • agreed.

  • My 95 TBI 350 sounds way better then my '01 v-tek 5.3L same setup with them both too.

  • v-tek? or vortec...

  • pretty sure he means vortec. honda isn't good enough to make a 5.3L engine

  • @pedemax well of course not....lol i ment it a lil sarcastic

  • Sounds badass! Wished my '01 1500 sounded that nice. I got the y-pipe the split into duals. Might pull them cats off :)

  • sounds like shit

  • truck sounds nice. i think the mud flaps look goofy tho haha.

  • That's awesome! I suppose this is not legal? I think this truck sounds better than the other "monster" truck!

  • what kind of rims are thoughts?

  • when you went to pure straights did your truck have a problem with shifting? Because I just did a pure 2 1/2in straight single exit and it won't shift properly. and its running like shit.. I don't know if its because there is no cat? Because it ran fine on just the cat, But i'm getting a flowmaster welded on today and hopefully that fixes it. because if your in nuetral and drop it into first it usually would jerk but now its doing that when i put it into drive. and its running extremely rough

  • that sounds sweet i like the wraping sound

  • I'd get 12inch glasspacks. I had true duals with nothing and decided to get glasspacks, still loud, and will sound little better too

  • thats true i got 8 in on mine after having it straight piped and its still loud a runs a whole lot better

  • 350?

  • i think my 93 chevy is a bit louder than this one. i got 2.1.4 straight pipes bent at 90 degree exits with 5 inch tips! sumbitch will shake windows wen i get on it around our turn by my work to go onto the highway! lol :P

  • nothing to do with back pressure...exhaust velocity, check out it.

  • Comment removed

  • that sumbitch is loud even at 1600rpms, good job tho it sounds badass

  • Hey man spray some WD-40 on those door hinges, it gets rid of the annoying squeaking sound, I just did it a few days ago lol

  • i hear ya on that one my 63 grand prix needs some real bad hahah

  • I got irritated with it, because as soon as it got cold the noise was much worse lol

  • at least put some flowmasters on it. my 90 has the true duels with flows. i hate the sound of straight pipes.

  • all flowmaster is is a fuckin name, i have 40 series on my 89 that were on it when i bought it.....and as soon as i go buy a new stick of pipe theyre gonna be in the trash

  • i like pissin off my neighbors too

  • im wanting to get teh same setup on my truck. all i lack is cutting my cats off.

  • does making True Str8 dual exuast benifit the truck at all?

  • it increases the gas milage because you have less back pressure

  • thats true...but ya have to keep your foot out of it...and i seem to have trouble with that one...hehehe

  • But you do want some backpressure otherwise you lose torque, and if you don't have enough you can burn your exhaust valves.

Also that sounds like my friend's 89 1500. I think it would sound better with a glasspack to tone it up a bit.

  • its cuz he's runnin narrow pipe

if it was 3 inch it would sound a little bit better my brother has a 91 with a 5 speed 2 inch all the way back sounds identical

  • i dont think hell burn them up...but if there isnt either enough back pressure, or the right exhaust velocity, it can make it so all the of exhaust isnt expelled, and they valves will crystalize, and crack...and you are right this truck is too clappy, needs some v8 tone...it sounds like a ricer almost...not a good v8 sound.

  • it dont sound anything like a ricer. sounds like a v8 to me. any other motor wouldnt come close to making that sound.

  • hey if i got a little more back pressure and consume just a tad bit more fuel but smoke the ricer on the highway im all for it lol

  • yay ricers =P i do it all the time its so sad seeing em cry home with there dreams of fast and the ferious borken down lol so the true dual dont cut it so im guessing im beter off jus dualing it with a flowmster muffler or sumin rite ?

  • Yea dont go with straights only...either leave the cat on and go with glasspacks, or cut out the cat and go with a flowmaster 40 or super 44's. If you leave the cat on with the flowmasters it wont be as loud. Too much back pressure is bad, and too little or no back pressure is bad, the backpressure is what helps the engine in getting the vapors out of the cylinder besides the piston pushing it out on the exhaust stroke. Also i think it sounds better with performance mufflers.

  • too little back pressure is bad and robs you of hp!

  • man thats a beautiful sound

  • Geez that cracks! Between you and your brother's truck, I'd hate to be your neighbors.

  • that sound like my 92 chevy

  • How much were those big ol' mudflaps?

  • around 8.. my o2 sensor is bad though

  • i have a 97 z with straights on it. im getting around 16 or 17 in my truck. the only bad thing is that its getting quiet to me. im wanting to cut my cats off here in a few months.

  • Its bad because you have no cat converter lol I had the same problem when running open headers on my 95 Silverado

  • Do 350 trucks have O2 sensors after the cat? My 95 Sierra with a 305 didn't have one after the cat so when mine started rotting out it was fine to replace with a straight pipe. I just have an 18" Summit glasspack and turndown before the axle on mine, it's as loud as yours but doesn't sound like it's bogging down. I think those Echo Chambers you have help, mine sounded great when I had them on.

  • ha whats your gas mileage in that?
