Thanks for sharing this great tool. I was able to overlay a few of my rides about a year ago and hadn't tried again for a while. I've since upgraded my MacBook Pro to Lion. Now I receive "Invalid memory access of location 0x1fc59140 eip=0x1fc59140" when I try to load any video into the app. Does Lion work for you.
@VeryMadMart Thanks for the quick reply Martyn. The videos are .MOV 720p created on a ContourHD. I was able to use the app on my iMAC, also running Lion and it worked. I guess I must have installed something on the MAC Book Pro that's causing the exception. I may start uninstalling stuff to find out what it is.

Dude! Message me or something cuz the link you commented didn't work. I've been looking for years on how to do this! How did you get the information on screen???
@yenrodtheoriginal yeah it is a little high! I just hadnt recovered from the previous section, was trying to keep a car from getting in front of me.. cars can be a bit annoying on downhills....
@VeryMadMart That's true that, up my way, theirs a hill with a 40/50mph downer...so they just get it it sometimes..unless they realise as we can go a whole lot faster than them downhill...they're too unwilling to give it up for a cyclist lol
@leedavis88 Terminal is located in the 'utilities' folder under applications..... i.e. open a finder window, select 'applications' and look for the utilities folder.... when you start terminal you will be in your home folder, download 'cycling.jar' and place it in your users home folder... then enter 'java -d32 -jar cycling.jar'....
@leedavis88 pleas step by step for win7 users. i run cmd.exe and type java -d32 -jar cycling.jar and wihout d32. my java programs is opened automaticaly in nokia suite grrr.
I have your Garmin Plugin working under Windows XP but having issues with the KMPH dial as there is no activity. Information coming off a Garmin Forerunner 301. So I have Heart, Direction and Altitude working. Rendering to Green Screen and then adding video. Love the plugin can't work out what is happening with the KMPH though.

My max speed ever is 65-67 kilometers per hour. The bike got a little shaky at that point. Was super fun but at the same time kind of terrifying!

Great vid, I tried to follow your instructions but am unfamiliar with Terminal use.
Could you break down the steps a little? I can't get window to open.
Operating Instructions
Open a terminal window and locate cycling .jar
Enter.... java -d32 -jar cycling.jar
A window should appear with a black background and showing some instruments... Just like this...
(If this fails, try without the -d32 option)
