  • I'm getting a 2x12 cab with the thunderverb, do you think it would be loud enough to jam with the band or even play live shows?

  • @EnergyChasm /watch?v=_DcQRcA03eU

that should answer your question ;)

    in short: hell yeah! ;)

  • That strat sounds absolutely beautiful!! It totally blows the Les Paul away by a billion miles.

  • I think my favorite is the les paul

  • hahahaha he played the national anthem : ) we love you guys here in the us : )

  • damn i love to watch that show

  • Don't you blow the speakers with the Bass Terror? :P

  • Is the orange ppc112 a good cab for the regular tiny terror?

  • @planBskater980 It certainly is!

  • @AndertonsMusic Thanks!! now i know what im gonna wish for my birthday!!!

  • love a bit of ACDC played there :3

  • Ok now a video for the new micro terror!!!! Please

  • the dark terror pleases me more and more, it even seems to be able to do a petrucci-like lead tone!

  • Wow, really cool review! It really shows of the differences and tonal qualities of the amps, and demoing a bass head with a guitar is really an awesome idea, you should do that more often :D

    \m/

  • OMG! Dark terror* equalizer would be perfect! ò.ò

  • i just came.... and it was orange

  • These guys are clearly big believers in FX Loops. And I can't imagine why.

  • @XcatisX WTH is an FX loop???

  • @MultiPowerage A spot in the back of the amp where you can plug in all your pedals. It's so that you can plug your guitar right into the amp with nothing blocking the signal path but I honestly don't hear any difference between that and through the front.

  • @XcatisX if you ever used a delay pedal in front of a fully distorted amp you'll know why. the repeats wont get quieter than the guitar signal, they will just get less distorted, and if you're using a looper in front of the amp you cant adjust the volume of the loop, only the amount of gain. and thats why u put those pedals in the fx loop, that way all distortion is done before and your fx dont get distorted (unless you crank the hell out of your amp...)

  • Out of these the dark terror definitely sounds the best but personally i had to go for the TH30, it has a very similar voicing so if you can sacrifice some portability you get a kick ass 30W orange with 2 channels and FX loop.

  • The hand wired is definitely sonically superior to its circuit board brother, there's just more depth to the quality of the sound. IMO it's worth the extra dosh. Mind you I thought the DT was good also.

  • Do you have any jobs going at your shop?!

  • What about the 5W combo?

  • @psychofunksoldier02 There isn't a 5w combo. The Tiny Terror combos are the exact same 15w amp as the regular tiny terror in an enclosure with either a 10" or 12" speaker.

  • @psychofunksoldier02 If you like a 5W full tube amp that can do vintage sounds, try the blackstar ht-5. really nice amp and great tone....not as great as orange but quite good. try it - it's worth it! ;)

  • @devilbeastie Hey man, I totally agree about the HT-5. I got one after Anderton's did their small tube amp shootout, and it's a sweet little amp! Now I just got the itch to get more 5 watt tube combos.

  • @TheGearmandude do you still love the Dark Terror now that you've had it for a month? What type of bands can you play with it? I'm a huge Tool fan and I'm curious if it could get close to their sound.

  • @edge9in I respect your life choices brother but I am most definitely not a tool fan. Apart from my own of course. Dark Terror sounds great don't it just.

  • BEARD IT UP!!!

  • Nice french language, c'est sympa ! And the tiny terror sound very great, love it

  • holy shit that bass terror sounded great! I would love to hear a demo of it using the bass cabs. That thing sound like it could be an epic blues machine!

  • Got the Dark Terror it is fantastic ,I love it! My search is over for the ultimate lunchbox head.Try it with a mxr eq it will rock your world

  • Got the Dark Terror it is fantastic ,I love it! My search is over for the ultimate lunchbox head.

  • hahaha, "over the next 10 minutes or so"

*glances at the timer,.....31:27 minute video*

    Nice.

  • If anyone has an orange dual terror I would fully recommend changing all the tubes with jj's except the v1 tube which I put a tung sol gold pin in. It sounded wonderful before but now it absolutely sings! I actually smile everytime I start playing through it like an idiot. It's not even the juicy fat channel overdriving the normal channel is a delight to play through clean with my strat as well!

  • I'll take the Dark Terror for 600, Alex.

  • @mechmat12345 A small round fruit, homonymous with its colour.

  • Chappers! Any chance of a video on how Stick records such great guitar sounds? He's fantastic! And Lee's playing keeps getting better each vid, atta boy!

  • The Beavis & Butthead of guitar demos - Great review with lots of humour LOVE IT!!!!

  • Out of all, the Dual Terror seems to be the most dynamic as far as range, clean, and crunch. It seems to have a much wider, full bodied sound. I was looking at the new DT25 earlier, but something keeps bringing me back to Orange. Won't be able to afford one until next year, so keep putting out he reviews...

  • That Les Paul is killer!

  • that strat looks gorgeous

  • Lee has a wicked vibrato going on :)

  • would be awesome if they´d make a dual dark terror!!

  • I love how punk Lee is when you hook him up with some gain

  • "Les it up!" The Capt.

  • OMG chappers american accent freak the fuck out of me lol

  • In my experience, the Tiny Terror and Dark Terror sound fabulous for the price, but the lack of switchable clean/crunch is really a drawback. Also, at high gain, a noise gate is a MUST!

  • Thumbs up for Lee's beard!!!

  • Capn lee, Why ur shoes always are so clean? :O ???

  • gotta love chappers ;D!

  • You should get your hands on a Splawn Amp, handbuilt, hot-rodded Marshall style amps made in North Carolina, USA. They are EPIC!!!

  • yes!! new video!!
