@zENJ0i it is from a few years back, around 2005, it is just a joke btw... i got to see it on the bbc and was really funny as it really looked from the beginning of the 80's
@ThechosenDemon Well it's obvious your idea of rap is either taken from a very small cross section or is a complete delusion. I never indicated anything hurt, I was just laughing at your ignorance.
Rap lyrics, while often unsavory can be lyrically dense using tight and extremely complex rhyme schemes. While the actual quality of the ideas conveyed in rap is really spotty the way in which they're conveyed is intricate.
Check the songs "Ridin Dirty" or "Without Me" for example.
Ridin Dirty? No, no it's not the formula. Why do people who like pop always say it's a formula thing, just because your favorite rapper does all those things doesn't mean he's doing it for the right reasons. I like REAL rap, real complicated, passionate, artistic rap. Rap and hip-hop that's created in dark warehouses, that's made in your room at night, that's created on the streets, that tells a true story, and has a real message.
Now I don't even know what point you're trying to make anymore. Did you just defeat yourself in an argument? Your first post looked like you were the sort that dismisses rap music across the board as being simplistic (or in your case. "Not intricate") I pointed out some WELL KNOWN counterexamples with high intricacy.
Now you've switched stance to... hipster rap music snob... I think? I might agree with you, if I could figure you out. I'm a WNYU radio man myself.
I think were talking about two different radio's lol. There is the radio in my contex that you just flick on and its pop stuff (lady gaga, drake, bruno marks, ke$ha, ect.) that people think is hip-hop when it's quite repetitive and is pop music with model artists. Generally when I say hip-hop sucks, it's because 90% of kids don't listen to real hip-hop, it's like saying rock sucks and kids think rock is hanna montana. I like real hip-hop, just not radio pop, you know what I mean?
@ThechosenDemon I guess, still has some hipster stink about it.
WNYU is a college station I get. Student run, lots of eclectic, small label stuff, very little "pop" content and, most important to me NO FUCKING COMMERCIALS.
Even their rap programs feature independent and underground stuff, people still releasing to local record shops on CDRs.
It really is a different type of radio, you can stream from the WNYU website if you wanna try it, look it up.
I remember when I was sick i was watching this program, but I was half asleep..and I thought I dreamt the whole thing and tried to explain it to my family but they were like..WTF?!? haha
Thank you for correcting the spelling. I am a profiterole chef myself, and I didn't spend eight grueling years in Princeton's prestigious profiterole program to have some know nothing spell my craft incorrectly on youtube.

1)Find an older, little known live taping of Tupac Shakur.
2)Dub over Anthony Carmichael's rap song over the lyrics.
3)Insist that it's real and that you taped it.
4)Watch rap fans lose their shit.
