The drum work at about 3:21 onward to about 3:45 is masterful!. I didn't really find out who Hendrix really was until about 1975. Growing up black in the South, you didn't hear any Hendrix except for Band of Gypsys. Once I heard this, that's all I wanted to listen to for a very long time.
