was walking by sliding doors when i heard a kackle from outside sounded like a laugh - looked side to find two Green Jays one of them doing the mating dance for the other I had never seen these birds before ~ on the border to Mexico in South Texas, The looked like short crows with beaufiful green backs and blue head... reached for the camera but it was too late they left. Simply Beautiful Birds... Bless to have seen them.

gorgeous! Like blue jays then, they do not sing pretty either, they kind of squak, but ours done scare the little birds too too much, but they are plenty domineering in our back yard, I don't mind their squaking because they are so beautiful, I want them to be around forever.

Wow, I've never seen that type of bird. It almost looks like it has exotic or tropical markings.

we have lots green jays that come to our feeder, it took about a year for them to trust the feeder.
they´re pretty, but don´t sing prettily, they´re loud. also they scare off smaller more timid birds.
