Now I think everyone is required to see light or the absense of light in someone elses eyes. Come on guys, we know we should have more ornithopters out there. Bring it on! There is no darkness of an absense of matter existing outside of a star anymore. I know we live good as it is but this is great news for the future. I've been working hard at this guys! i think I could design a much more better heli, honestly... what do you think about the blades turning arround your own body? as if you were in the axis, inside a cylinder. there's no need of a huge structure.

Seems that 4 blades props with shorter spans that could mesh like gears would make it smaller i.e. shorter spans are much easier to engineer for strength, light weight and lower flex. Still, very cool.
how about testing the rotors placed under or in some kind of disc shape to eliminate the spilled lift. perhaps and a gear system of some kind like would increase pedal speeds. its just a matter of time before people really do some incredible pedal powered flying machines
