Its good to see such celebrities are casting their vote. But being celebrity doesn't mean that their time is more valuable than others. Kavya should have shown some basic common sense. Poor Kavya. I don't think she tried to use her VIP status to skip the queue. But the guy's point is also valid. There are lots of people old and weak waiting. It wouldn't be fair on them. She could however ask their permission and get in first if they are fine with it.

He is the man... what he said is exactly correct. It got a scope of news just because the person who cut the line is a famous person. If i tried to cut the line, the police men who is supporting her here will just kick me out from there and there will not even be a single scope of news value also. do respect people, protocol and procedure.. a salute to that young man

and def i dont agree with making any new rules for them. Jus because somebody is famous or movie star dont mean they have more rights or considerations from government. everybdy is equal and if she wanted to vote fast and go she should've came first...like normal ppl do.

Kavya can be famious or a movie star.She get paid when she act.If she dont have time then she should not come to vote.If she comes here to vote then she should stand in queue just like all other Indian Citizens.That is what makes Kerala different than other sates like Tamilnadu and That makes our India more brighter.When she knows that she should eb a role model then she should not do this nonsense.She should be an ideal person for others. Do you think that the so called bollywood stars (AB and family and the rest of the people) stand in queue for voting...? and about the guy... he was simply creating a scene... and moreover... i am impressed that at least kavya went for voting.... have you ever heard mammooty , mohanlal or any of the stars going to vote and if so... standing in queue... ?

I agree with that gentleman,celebrities are not above the law. Right to equality is an important right provided for in Articles 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the Indian constitution. It is the principal foundation of all other rights and liberties.No one is above the law and no one is below it, I really appreciate him for his brave and timely act.

Kavya should've stood in the queue like an ordinary citizen--there should be no VIP queue in polling stations like we have in Tirupati.Like this electoral officers going to erstwhile kings of kerala should be stopped. they should know there are no subjects anymore but we are all citizens.

Its good to see such celebrities are casting their vote. But being celebrity doesn't mean that their time is more valuable than others. Kavya should have shown some basic common sense. Even I saw in an interview, Mohanlal telling that law should be common to all. but I doubt in such situations these people will obey the rules or not? Vaachaka madikkan valare eluppamaanu. But pravarthikkan valare budhimuttaanu.

Poor Kavya. I don't think she tried to use her VIP status to skip the queue. But the guy's point is also valid. There are lots of people old and weak waiting. It wouldn't be fair on them. She could however ask their permission and get in first if they are fine with it.

Why do you think she didn't mean it? She kept saying 'ariyam chetta, arinjukondu thanneya'. Then what was she doing? If she did she would have stayed at the back of the line as people normally do. By the way , how come Kavya is VIP? If she is a surgeon with patients waiting on the table, if she is a member in the governing office with public waiting, if she is a police officer who left the crime scene, then there is a point in that kind of urgency.
