Go vote for BSB. Remind the world about the beauty of their music and the 90's. VOTE VOTE VOTE BSB!!!

  • Why would they even try to sing this song. The Stylistics should sue them. They don't have enough soul to put this song over its pretty sad to me. He sounds like a cat whining at the end of this song. It sounds like s---.

  • Why would they even try to sing this song. The Stylistics should sue them. They don't have enough soul to put this song over its pretty sad to me.

  • wow great.......... howie was awesome

  • I think he did fine :)

  • aww love Howie!

  • This is awful and pitchy bad rendition

  • prince better

  • this is Prince's version his singing... not Stylistics!!!

love it so much1!! love Howie!!!

  • ...Prince does it better....

  • such harsh serious words, it's not like they covered it and put it on a cd, it was just for a concert. it's not Howie's best but I love it. (I do love the Sytlistics by the way and know this song well.)

  • Oh HELL NAW!!!!

  • @racheal314 agreed

  • Here is singing Howie, nobody else..

    :)

  • love prince version

  • leee john version

  • wow... i love BSB but not on dis song... they just killed it...

  • Notice they need subtitles because you understand what the hell they're singing.

Once again: Stick with the Sylistics

  • @dennello NEWSFLASH i NEVER UNDERSTOOOD THE WORDS TILL HOWIE SANG IT

  • @APRIL62318 You never heard this song before "howie" whoever he is, sang it.

  • @dennello i said i never understood the words till howie sang it Prince's voice was way too high!

  • His name is Howie D and he is very talented so lay off!

  • Sorry, no matter how you cut it, Stylistics rule on this song. young or old, compare the songs the Stylistics command no. 1! suppose the Stylistics sang this song to this young crowd.? the responds would have been ten-fold. sorry, back street boys, your version crucified a fantastic song. Stylistics rule big time!!

  • I commend them for trying, but some people/groups should not attempt certain songs.

  • stop hating!!! i love the origional and this one is awesome too!!!!

  • Unfortunally 90 pecent of the chicks at these concert didn't know who orginally sung it and how it sounded, so they don't know how much these guys fucked it up.....

leave the classics alone....they can't be remade...or sung by anyone else.

  • LMAOOOO ur so right......

  • HORRIBLE

  • where did you get this song

  • they messed this classic song up ...

  • Stick with the Stylistics

  • Very good!!!!!!

    Muito bomm!!!!!

  • This SO sucks. They wrecked a perfectly beautiful song. No one wil ever be able to touch this song like The Stylistics. There are some things white people ( like me ) are better off leaving alone, and Stylistics songs is one of them. Not hating, just being real. BSB should stick to what ever it is they do THEMSELVES well. Some songs, like this one, are indelibly written in our memories, and ANY fake-ass lame-ass try at it aint NEVER gonna cut it. Even Hall & Oates would have a tough time w this.

  • Check out my version of this song when you can, it's not good as the Stylistics but it's way better than this one lol. I can't stop laughin at this song and your comment 2 it, this rendition is the worse I've heard.

  • Beautiful song, I LOVE BSB =)

  • This is horrible... the only cover version I like is Phyllis Hyman's.... and the original will always be the best.... backstreet boys just leave it to them...

  • check out my version when you can, it's way better than this one lol.

  • either way he fuckd this song up lol l still love you bsb!

  • This is a cover version of the Backstreet Boys covering Prince's cover version of the Stylistics "Betcha By Golly Wow".

  • maybe they should try song from menudo instead of this song... am i right guys...

  • boooooooo! they try so hard dont they........

  • This is horrible

    Leave it to the Stylistics

  • check out my version when you can, it's not as good as the stylistics but it'll kill this version lol.

  • check out my version, it's better than this one by far.

  • This is awful. Listen to the Stylistics version instead.

  • DAMN RIGHT!

  • I just listened to the AUDIO PREVIEW on the left to hear my comment. That's even MORE hilarious...

  • sounds like bad karaoke

  • AB: i AGREE. Why do white boys steal black songs? Whoever started singing in the beginning was WAY off key. Then he ends up singing like the MAYOR OF MUNCHKIN city. Then he tries to RAP. Then he starts to howl whine like drag queen. LOL

  • They've been stealing since slavery. How dare those white ass honkeys try to sing a black song like this. They make me sick. No original ideas or talent. He ruined this damn song.

  • dd: AMEN. These Backdoor Boys have no talent and really made this song sound gay (lol). The ruined a classic.

  • Man. We have a stolen legacy from the beginning to the present. Holy crap 1940spiano! What we gonna do??? LOL.

  • They steal because they have no original talent. Dean Martin stole from the Mills Brothers, Johnny Cash's daddy from a black folk singer, Bob Dylan from Odetta. And now, they are doing THE WIZ! Youtube it. Holy crap, ain't nothing we can do that they won't steal. NOTHING. Then later, they will call it their own. Even stole HOCKEY. See Fosty's book, Black Ice. NHL apologized.

  • First of all she was steeped in the African American community. Secondly she collaborated with the black jamaican founder of the phili sound and third, before dying from breast cancer she set up a foundation for african american women. I think she was a light skinned black, like the congressman. Doesn't matter anyway, It's a black song and part of black heritage and these white boys butchered it.

  • Like I wrote above, and there are hundreds of other examples, what originates in the souls of black folks is first disparaged, then put down, then imitated and then taken to belong to whites. They call white gospel ,classic gospel and the orignal black gospel, black gospel.

  • I appreciate what you're saying. I suppose for me music and particularly often lyrics being 'steeped' in raw emotion and naked feelings are colourless. But I do concede they are rarely faceless.

  • I liked the Backstreet Boys and even saw them in concert but Howie did not do a good job on this song.

  • somebody shot them,please....

you people are right they killed the classic

of the magic of the stylistics...

    noooo...

  • shadow: AGREED (again). THIS REALLY SUCKED. Who so many white people steal black people songs? Maybe they should try rapping instead (lol).

  • although I don't know who the hack are Back street boys, but it makes this song gay.

And is this singer got a cold?

  • fred: agreed (again). He's worse than Clay Aiken.

  • FOR REAL THESE FAGS KILLED THAT JAM!!

  • @rosy166 quit calling him and the backstreet boys that

  • backdoor fags, leave the classics alone!

  • The voice is from Howie mostly

  • I know we are used to hear perfect versions, BUT I think in case, that this is absolutely live and not "edited" on the fly, the singing (of probably Nick?) isn't too bad, quite good actually...

Some ideas of this modern version are nice too.

  • There is only ONE version and that was by the stylistics.

  • lol u so funny

  • you mean the stylistics right

  • I meant Prince destroyed this Stylistics song first (or also). But you can't hear any Prince on YouTube and yet ... it was better than this version. Sorry to say.

And the funny thing is I kind of liked a few

    Backstreet Boys' songs.

  • No prince on youtube? That's a travesty.

  • totally ruined a classic...yikes

  • @labmanjrb69 I agree, it really lacks the soul of the original Stylistics version.

Sorry to sound racist, but most white men can't jump.

  • @HunterMann I am as white as a cloud , these 5 couldn't shine the Stylistics shoes .

  • Are you kidding!!weak.

  • wat duh!!!i think they do not sang this song!!!this is not their voice!!

  • what a shame coz i liked this song...and now...well u tell me

  • the germans may not know the song. if this is such a great song, why dont we share it with the rest of the world?

  • check it out on the internet. from the 1970s, before whites in america acquired soul. the stylistics, with the philidelphia sound. Same place of will smith. Phili.

  • oh man, i love this original song by the Sylistics, but hey, howie did this really well, i imagined their remake with Howie and Brian trading off with the solos, because they both have soft and sweet voices

  • wooo!! Go Sweet D!!!! love it!

  • its quite bad really, but they are cute!

  • i agree, that sucked. i still like backstreet. it's funny how having 20,000,000 fans make you think you can pull any song off. lol.

  • the perfect true singers

  • beatiful voice

  • what he say?

  • Deutschland.. du bist wunderschon!

He says: Germany, you are beautifull!

It's not the best song they/he ever did but I still love them ;)

  • this is just howie:?

  • Yes, it´s just Howie in a Concert =)

  • wow

  • HOWIE HAS A NICE VOICE <33333

  • man he does ... wow...
