Ronnie's playing in the beginning of this video just go to show a snooker player's difficulty when playing position in pool. He was having a very hard time leaving the angle he needed to get from ball to ball. He also was also exhibiting bad choice of shot. Taking low percentage shots that yield no reward. Just a side effect of being new, time can fix such a thing. Not to mention his lapse in concentration shooting the 6 rather than the 5. We've all done it, been so into a match that you just

Haha! I love Ronnie as a snooker player. In fact - I'm addicted to watching him playing snooker. BUT - he really didn't play well here. Somebody posted ONLY the Mosconi cup videos where Ronnie was running out. Ronnie DID make a bunch of mistakes in 9 ball, that's a matter of fact. He plays like somebody who does not know the game but has unbelievable potting ability. He's still my favourite snooker player and I do believe if he did play pool he would be world class... but he was 22 here!
