  • love the john deere combines we run a 9760sts 8 row

  • no dumb ass picking corn is done with an old picker machine and not a combine

  • Comment removed

  • no you dont know a fucking thing a combine shells the corn off the cob and picker just picks the hole cob and thats it, you must never had run a combine you fucking dumb ass

  • how much can you make off 1 acrea of corn these days? those combines cost a quarter million dollers

  • You pick corn, you don't combine it.

  • no dumb ass

  • how many acres do y'all run?

  • They combined corn all winter this past year in northwestern Minnesota. But then there was snow not ice on the corn. When it is cold enough snow goes out the back just like dust.

I once combined sunflowers in December. The colder it got the better it went. We fooled the moisture tester at the local elevator too.

  • I agree the colder the better.

We usually went till the elevator started to bitch about all of the ice.

  • thanks!.........nice to see, got any baling or corn silage vids>?

  • i like the extra storage on the cab ;>)

  • LOL We just mabey put a little extension around the cab!

  • the hopper's never big enough is it? lol

  • why dont you have the corn head lower it whould make a better jod.

  • Because the stalks were frozen, we cold not go any lower.

  • nice combine though im a bit more of a case fan myself

  • Hey there's not problem with that, if everyone liked the same thing the world would be really boring!

  • whats that orange thing at the end of the unloading auger.

  • a lamp to see the cart better when unloading looks alittle funny dont it

  • merry christmas

  • Almost forgot, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  • Thanks! Same to you!

  • That was a good day to finish combining corn as we also finished up that day. A lot of the guys in our area just parked the combines once it snowed, but we kept going on the days that the snow would drop off of the corn. I even heard that one guy mounted an air reel to his corn head to blow the snow off of the corn in front of the combine. Thanks, keep up the good work! Matt

  • We went that day until both legs were messed up at the elevator then we quit. We finished up the next day around 7:00 a.m.

The air reel sounds like a good idea.

Just wait the best is yet to come before the new year!

  • Nice video! Did the snow and ice plug up the sieves alot?

  • Thanks!

They did not plug up because it was very, very cold. We were mainly going slow because it was just biting the stalks off and bringing everything in the machine.
