Same scene, same lines, but the new version just doesn't touch my heart the way this scene did. I fell in love with Ruby's character from here on; when Ziwei cried out "then what am I?", struggling to stand up after getting beaten, the way she fell and crawled to Erkang tugging at his gown - Ruby was the beautiful and delicate Ziwei. And that intense look Erkang gave: I was sold to their pairing.

But the new Ziwei lacks that luster of intelligence and beauty Ruby portrayed...

This scene is one of my favorites from the first season, it never fails to make me cry. God, this version is so much better than the new one just released! The way the new zw was beat made me LOL instead of cry
