  • where's beyonce

  • The Original is still better! I know more artists there although I'm born in this generation. Long Live the 80'S!

  • I don't even know who 2/3 of these people are...

  • Eh, not feeling it. Nothing like the original.

  • damn whats with all the negativity ? i honestly think they did a great job with it, may not be as good as the original but it definitely caught the attention of a wider audience not just one genre which was the point of putting people like the Jonas brothers and snoop in the same song & to raise money for Haiti, they raised millions off this track so it wasn't such a 'Wack' idea after all.

  • 1:19 back to 80s...

  • 2:25 is that P!nk I see there??:D

  • 2:25 is that P!nk I see there??:D

  • All the rap stars just FUCK this song all to HELL

  • I didn't think you could make this song horrible. I was WRONG!!!

  • you have many different great voices, brandon flowers, bono, chris martin, mariah carey, why put miley cirius, lil wayne, eminem!! its a joke?

  • if it was to place it had to be rapper Jay-Z or Eminem, or the rapping was a fucking!

  • Auto tuning and the rapping needs ripped out of this....seriously

  • este video es fabuloso

  • Man you guys need to cut these artist some slack and look at the big picture and what they came together for. To help end hunger and poverty. Is it as good as the original? No, but it's not bad at all. It's a pretty decent remake IMO.

  • @xovagivela you are fucking righr

  • MIichael have no replacement!!!!

  • never will be like the first one.... and pls don't make comparation! I m not saying that this singers are worst, just they are not for this song. sorry but i don't like this version, so i have to say I DISLIKE THIS...

  • not as good as the first one

  • that ain't no vibrato man ! XD

  • listening to this crap should just show that this junk these days isnt music...music was in the 80's..the original was miles and miles better than this junk...

  • Der beste Remake den ich bis jetzt gehört hab

  • melhor parte 1.29 ao1.38

  • The original is better

  • THE RAP PART KILLS IT. SORRY I LOVE THE ORIGINIAL WITH MICHAEL JACKSON. DIANA ROSS, STEVE WONDER ETC, ITS WAY BETTER

  • the best part from 2.35 to 2.40

  • Well.. good try, but Bieber and Miley Cyrus? Put some John Mayer right there and u will see dat shit goin'

  • Who is that at 50 seconds?

  • fuck fuck original the best

  • T-pain, lil wayne, a rapping part? really??

  • dissapointed I didnt see shrek or susan boyle in there...I guess there one in the same though

  • you liberals are the worst..... you really don't care.

  • how about helping out the folks here in America who are on the side of the road begging??? fuck Africa. you liberal assholes... help out the folks on the corner.

  • what he is doing the gay Bieber ???!!!!???? i hate him. idiot

  • who ever allowed some of these guys to make god awful music should be slapped. This song is good but some of these singers just suck balls. I mean its annoying, irritating noise coming out. I sing better than half these guys and im not famous wtf?

  • fucking niggers ruined this song with there jiggaboo noise.

  • @MrNickyv00 Shut the fuck up, you racist and arrogant pig.

  • @RoisinPeeke369 lol stfu nigger lover jajajaja get back in the fields with you husband!

  • @MrNickyv00 GO TO HELL! YOU FUCKING IGNORANT RACIST PIG! THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE WITHOUT YOU! WHO DO YOU THINK WROTE THIS AMAZING SONG!? MICHAEL JACKSON IS ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE OR ATLEAST PRAYING FOR YOUR FUCKING ASS IN HEAVEN!!

  • @melaniejk2012 LOL i do believe you are a retarded dipshit, 1) im talking about the niggers who rapped in this song, 2) obvious troll is obvious,,,, Now go sit in the corner little girl.

  • @MrNickyv00 How pathetic are you, calling me a retarded dipshit when you don't even make sense when you talk. "Obvious troll is obvious" DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Go back to school you uneducated bitch. And what? Did you delete the comment I had replied to in the at first? I just went back through to see why I was so pissed in the first place, and it's gone. The "nigger" reference and "jigaloo" music alone is offensive enough, and that alone should make you ashamed.

  • @melaniejk2012 I forgot to mention your "nigger lover" comment to @RoisinPeeke369 "get back in the fields with you husband"

Again this is gramatically incorrect and you are a racist pig. And I'd bet you wouldn't be coming at me or others and saying this face to face.

  • i like 4:34 to 5:22

  • I muted the 1st 10secs.

  • Interesting. Nobody needed to use auto-tune back in 83.

  • This song could've used more Wyclef, since this song affected him the most; it would've been nice just to hear/see him more during this. You have to excuse the rappers. Nothing against rappers, but this is a song to be SUNG by the great man himself. Unfortunately, the majority of our music culture involves rap, and no real singing. Nearly ever rapper's voice, with maybe the exception of LL, was autotuned. They don't know how to perform without it not have talent in actual singing. :(

  • The only individuals that I feel come even close to the original are:

Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson, Josh Groban, Tony Bennett, Mary J. Blige, Barbara Streisand, Jamie Foxx, Adam Levine, Pink, and Celine Dion.

  • JUSTIN BIEBER _)_ OU FUCK SHIT.

  • I sit here, and try and find the Jonas Brothers like a cool person.

  • "like katrina, africa, indonesia, haiti needs us"

did anyone else catch that will.i.am basically said KATRINA needs us???

couldn't he have just said new orleans?

  • Fucking terrible.

  • Also Bod geldof wrote his song after Michael so get your facts right. Michael wrote this song and after got Lionel Richie to Edit it and they re-wrote it!!!

  • Thank god everyone still knows who wrote the song, if it wasn't for Michael we wouldn't be able to enjoy these songs or lyrics. I think its great that all his songs are sung by others because it shows that he had a great talent for lyrics and the lyrics will never be forgotten. The original is still the best but his songs will never die!!!!

  • When u have to make excuses of ''at least they were trying to help Haiti'' (cool) but that also means ''yeah it's not as good as the original''. I gave a monetary donation instead. So I done my part.

  • Everyone in the first version (with very few exceptions) could sing & had legendary status. This one....well, didn't quite measure up & flopped. Not so moving & even irritating at some points :-P

  • The original We are the world was just Americans ripping off a once great idea by Bob geldof. And the song was terrible. Anyone with half a brain (which excludes Americans) would know that most of these artists dont give a shit about poverty and starvation. They only care about fame and fortune and that person they see in the mirror everyday.

  • It was great when i saw Tony bennet,Barbra striesand but then it went to shit

  • honestly, the remix is for a good cause, but the auto-tune kills it for me. especially on t-pain's part. given that everyone sang their hearts out for the original version, they should sing their hearts out for this one, no? t-pain CAN sing, he is actually a very talented singer WITHOUT auto-tune, but i wish he would show his pure voice on special occasions like these.

  • Im sorry, but this version sucked...I give props for the reasons it was redone. but there are voices in this that should not be here...all in all the best was Celine Dion!!!

  • I actually kind of like this song, the original is better, but I like the diversity in this one. I always thought the original was a but bland, and the slight changes make this version unique. it's not like they were trying to replace the other singers just make it different. if you were wondering I'm only 19 but I listen to a lot of different music from 60's to now, not just today's artists.

  • in the beginning when i saw justin bieber i was like: "Omg I'm going to rage quit"...

  • im 25 and this is fucking horrible they should b ashamed of them selves props to the thought of it but no one today can replace the singers form the 80's AND THEN WTF AUTO TUNE AND SOME FKN HIP HOP BREAK DOWN SHIT cmon really?

  • これはこれで、すばらしいと思う

  • Cut this song at 4:46, nothing against rap, it just doesn't fit here

  • @mikeshoe74 I feel the same way

  • The rappers fuck this song up mostly.

  • @Archiefkast rappers ain't fuck shit up, u hatin nigga

  • @gtrinityjr I listen to rappers myself aswell, and I like those songs. But here, they ruin a great song, they really rape it to the ground.

And I'm not a ''nigga'', I'm white :) But from your ''skills'' in typing, I see you are probably one.

  • Can someone tell me who the singer is at 0:41 please?

  • @silarnon Jennifer Nettles, country singer

  • None of the original singers needed autotune. Just goes to show you.

  • Once again it doesn't matter who is singing as long as it comes from the heart thankyou for putting the video up here

  • Actually I think MIley and Jonas Brothers did a great job

  • I agree it doesn't matter who is in the video it matters that they are doing this for a cause and they are all good singers maybe just maybe this song is a big song to sing considering who sung it the first time around but at least they tried and that's all that matters.

  • Great remix. I loved the parts that showed Michael Jackson singing the original song over 30 years ago. What an inspiration!

  • Fuck sake can the rappers just STFU for once, this song turned to shit as someone else said right then. ugh

  • @Zelinna1 u made cuz theyy add some shit, man fuck u

  • pretty funny that jamie foxx imitated ray charles starting at 4:33 at a honorable way ofcourse.

r.i.p all the great sangers who sang this same song 30 years ago.

great remake , this century does have some respect !

  • I thought it was great and everything but I was a little disappointed that they had the Jonas Brothers but not the great Paul McCartney

  • This is Inspirational that I expierence

  • I think it's great - timely remake with a good mix of today's icons - just like the one 30 plus years ago. AND, I think the rapping is quite all right! I am very proud that included Michael's original recordings. Yes - it is a great remake!

  • im reading these comments and Im ashamed to even be a part of this. It doesnt MATTER who sings the song or if miley cyrus and jjustin beiber are in the video or not. cant you guys see that they are trying to do something more for society. its not about the stars its about helping the children we see in the video in haiti. so quit whining and think of how youve helped haiti instead of wasting youre time.

  • 2:11 - HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA WTH??

  • @pdchr NO SAY MUDLAAAAAAAALALALALALALA

  • @pdchr He's speaking Haiti's language. Naturally, I forgot what it was.

  • @pdchr He's from Haiti. If you watched the original We are the World they brought someone in from Africa to sing at this part in the song.

  • @thePYGMYS ... are you kidding? and who would that be? LOL They didn't bring in an African...... The purpose of this song is right but the recording isn't that good.....

  • @pdchr hahahaha ikr!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who are these people? Are these my neighbors and the kid that bags my groceries?

  • Bieber? Surely they could have found better than the least talented "pop artist" of our generation?

  • The best solos: Celine Dion, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Sherzinger, Usher. Definitely could've done without the rappin'. PS: Love how Celine's part (2:58-3:02) doing her high notes completely drowns out Fergie. Suck it bitch.

  • I love everybody who's in it, Because they sing for the world. They sing for us.

  • from 4:22- 5:30 i think messed up the whole song. Origional was better

  • Justin Beiber? Why? One of the Jo-Bros? Micheal Jackson was in this one and the origional. The rapping totally messed up the theme of the song.

  • 2:13

    Who the f*ck?!?^^

  • was not expecting lil wayne to pop up in there.

  • 1:43 they chose the right person to sing it.. wonderful!

  • tht rappping just killed the song, nd it already kinda sucked! cant cover tht 80s 1

  • the song turned to shit at 4.46

  • and Miley Cyrus RUINED the song, enrique sounded bad,Justin beiber...cant sing worth anything, and wyclef,he's amazing but what the hell?!

  • Lady gaga refused to take part in this, she is obviously inspired by EVERYONE in the original, and she didnt want to touch a classic song, this remake is kind of cool, but nowhere near the original

  • Great song and message and for a great cause, but bad representation:/ Like could we get some legit talented people, i mean wtf lil wayne, tpain, justin bieber??!

  • i was kinda surprised i didn't see beyonce, rihanna, chris brown, usher, katy perry...you know more popular artists of this generation, i mean lil wayne and t-pain, bieber, but no good people? lol jk but still surprised

  • @Jayymoni

thats becuase they all suck, the only people good in this are Celine Dion(of course) Pink,Adam Levine,Tony Bennett, Jennifer Hudson, thats it

  • really though they had to open with Beiber.

  • whats every1 dissing this song for? its amazing, that all these celebrities come together and sing a song for a good cause and ppl critisize them, its so stupid! they sang great! excepically miley cyrus everyone did! this songs great!

  • wheres eminem ? oh let me guess.. hes too good to be on this track.. haha

  • they have to do a new remix with gaga , nicki mianj irhanna katy perry.,etc <3

  • Gladys knight and celine dion in the same room as that runt justin bieber?! What is this?!?

  • This is just horrible - WHY do people insist on doing remakes of songs that were perfect to start with? Just like the remake of Band-Aid-2!!!!! Horrible, although I don't mind P!nks voice in this, it suits the song.

  • lil wayne made this terrible

  • Was that a little chubby Rhianna? heheh cute.

  • @SventhHeaven oh. duh that was Faith... ooopsssie

  • pq tiveram q coloca o lazarento da bicha inrrustida desgrasada e lazarenta de novo do justin bieber ?????????

  • this looks like a bunch of hoodrats trying to make a remix of something that was done right the first time....

they really messed up this song when they did this version...

    the origanl version is better

  • This was exceptionally good compared to the original~which the original is ALWAYS better...but I'm glad I watched and listened to it up until the rap/hip hop CRAP!!! That ruined the whole thing and I think even Michael Jackson wouldn't have liked it because of it!! That is WHY the kids on You Tube make comments as to how much they wished they'd grown up to the songs of the 80's!! Anyway this is MY opinion~just MINE!! Oh, well.....

  • Soo.... everything is fine in Haiti now???

  • of course, t-pain!

  • I like some parts of this, not all

but at least this is for a good cause

  • @KingdomDoubled Sorry dude im not much rap either but its probably one of the best things to up this song man ... a new level of awesome has been created here :)!

  • Kanye West is in the video?? this video waste my time....

  • WTF half of the singers are BLACKS......

  • no just no see the original version

  • Damn haters stfu! Already!!!!! Jesus! Is it just me or did I keep seeing Gianluca from ilvolo I the back round????

  • What VOMIT! Digital and bad rap and what was the BS out of sync out tune whaling gutter trash. They have taken a classic song and destroyed it with really really bad entertainers. There were some musical greats in the chorus but, they only trash sing for the most part. There were exceptions. This was a waste of material to make the CD and the VIDEO and WHY WHY WHY WHY did Justin BEIBER start the song off and I can go on and on and on and on. BS GARBAGE. Anyone can get a digital mic and sing

  • @MrTelee1266 hey they helped hatii that was imporant

  • Autotune much? lol

  • I can understand that some may or may not like this remake and in terms of art this is of course understandable... but I think we ALL can agree that it's underlying purpose in supporting Haiti's recovery completely overshadows individual artistic taste... If singing Rebecca Blacks "Friday" would help save another persons life or feed the starving I would ask "when and where?" .... and then as an afterthought I might think "damn this song sucks" .... just a thought.

  • the guy at 3:13...who is that? he sounds familiar

  • @ToriFloyd515 if no one allready told you its nick jonas.

  • suck it josh greben. lol

  • Wow:( very disappointing. The original version was sooooooo much better. I understand why they wanted to do a remake but sometimes you just dont fix the wheel if it aint broke. :((

  • @summerbreez74 They got Barbara and Tony, though...

  • 4:40.... why is Vince Vaughn there?

  • I love this remake. What an awesome way to honor those before them, Michael would be proud.

  • I lyk Lil Wayne's part!

  • 00:40 umm....... are you okayyy???(:

  • Nice effort for aid to Haiti, but the video production does not hold a candle to the original. Most remakes don't.

  • lil wayne autotune wtf?

  • 2:06 best

  • justin bieber is like virus....every song i want to listen, his face come in song....omg....can I just listen "old school" of songers...

  • I'm glad michael jackson died. Pedofile.

  • Bieber, Your UnDropped Balls Ruined EVERYTHING D,:

  • oh dear...

  • pause at 3:41 justin bieber's like what do i do?

  • Some song covers will never replace the classics...this being one of them. That being said, best part of this version? Michael!

  • God Bless all these artist for coming together giving up their time to do something so special.

These very poor people need for the entire world to help them out. That's why Americans are so special, WE CARE and it's up to us!!! It's people like you and I that can make a difference.

Good stuff people...Nice!!! God Bless America!!!

  • SO much autotune in this song :/

  • I was going to donate until I saw and heard who they picked to begin this song. Disgrace to the meaning and all the talented singers who originally sang the song. Please bring the talented people back.

  • did i see randy jackson in this video?

  • I know have of the singers and I grow up with this singers on the radio. I know more of the singers from the orginal video.

  • we are the world !!!!!!!!

  • Celine Dion.....wow!

  • Ya u the old guy we see u textin when u should be singing!!!!!!!!! >:(

  • Love this song cry everytime thumbs up if u agree! :)

  • was that maroon 5?

    8|

  • go pink and celine......wow...so great...

  • could do without Miley, Justin, the autotuned rappers, and the rap....

But other than that, it's pretty good :). NEVER will compare to the original...

    Love ya, Michael <3

  • why do people always need to ruin a good song by rapping, dont get it

  • @fiddleman22 - dude, its not all about the song or who the singers are.The main purpose of this song is about helping those people from Haiti and not for GRAMMY AWARDS.

  • you know what. thumbs up to MJ for making this song

  • skipped to 4:50 then i cried

  • I made the badger being eaten by a million tiny caterpillars voice

  • Michael jackson cannot be replace

  • It is sad when a goth girl can see past Beiber, Cyrus, and The Jonas Brothers and enjoy the song and even go back and say 'Wow... I kinda liked that they had them in here too.' Get over yourselves and see the song as a whole.
