no worries at all! i want to get a brass quintet to play this for my grandmother because she is very ill. it'll make her happy. but i seel like the brass would be too harsh.. what do you think Ruth?

Well from memory the original Kill Bill version uses brass as well as pan pipes, drums and bass guitar, so I guess it's appropriate, still, five brass instruments in a small room with an unwell, elderly lady might be a bit overwhelming.

Perhaps a more acoustic sound would be better such as guitar, mandolin and zamponas (or pan pipes) as we have here.

Yeah, it's from Kill Bill. Tania (guitar/zamponas) was inspired by the movie and we wrote and recorded this version soon after.

Jedi Master I've a friend called Yuri who's amazing on Balaleika (I play Prima Domra with him). It's not an easy instrument (what with three strings, two of which are the same pitch).
