Your assessment of the benefits from the Contract w/America, was flawed and unsupported by any facts. Fact: Bill Clinton signed 7 of the 10 items listed on the Contract. Quite an astounding per centage for Clinton to allign himself with Newt's bill isn't it? Balanced budget, welfare reform, require all laws that apply to the rest of the country also apply to Congress;require committee meetings to be open to the public, to name a few...which ones are bad?
