I've seen parts of this movie, but I don't remember the plot. What exactly is Jenny. Is she human or some demonic thing in human form? I remember that her and Magnus get separated somehow when they're kids, and that the sea turtle is somehow evil and involved in all this, but I don't remember what else happens. Can somebody tell me?

Reminds me off being young again.This movie has been mixed into my dream's throughout my life. I dont get why this song makes me feel sad.I'm 45 yr's old now and seeing and hearing this,tugs at my heart. Thank you for posting this )

Wow! Amazing work,I'm really impressed with how well polished and done this is...kudos to you! And guess what...I was a young girl of 16 when I saw this tv film for the 1st time(and hadn't seen it since until just now)and like many of the men who left comments here,this movie made quite a long-lasting impression on me! Of course I was madly in like with the actor Leigh McCloskey and the haunting,beautiful score.Thanks so much for bringing back such a lovely teenage memory!

Ahab had a white whale; Eric had a giant sea turtle. I haven't seen this movie in years, but I remember it beening shown several times in '78 & '79. Wow!! After seeing some of the uploads for this film, I am shocked how many males here were affected by the song...and by Connie Selleca. I have to admit, she made that movie. And I love Rankin & Bass' work! This was a good piece you made! Bravo!
