LMP also told the world that she had told Michael she wasn't going to get pregnant because she wasn't going to have sex with him anymore. She said that he responded by saying that Debbie Rowe offered to have children with him and he intended to accept her offer. No man on this planet would say something like that to a woman that he loved.
Obviously, Michael wanted that marriage to end. It looks like he just did not want to give the media more ammunition by being able to report what some fans would not want to hear. Did that mean Michael should become a slave to their will? I don't think he thought he should. Rumors are rarely true, and they are often harmful. Michael clearly did not like the LMP love-story rumors. Years ago, Michael gave a speech at a NAACP gathering in which he talked about the other rumors and why those rumors began. He said they began when he started breaking Elvis's and The Beatles records. Michael said they (we all know who he meant) don't want to talk about the facts. Then he said that we should not walk away and forget what he said. I don't intend to let America forget.
Michael was never in love with LMP. Brett Livingstone Strong, the man who reintroduced them, said "Lisa Marie fell in love with Michael and pursued him relentlessly." Within months after they married, Michael clearly wanted a divorce. It took Michael about a year and a half to get it without giving the media the fodder they were hoping for. After he walked out on LMP and got the divorce, the relationship was over as far as he was concerned. LMP's feelings had nothing to do with it.

In his private life, he clearly did not want to be around LMP much. Years ago, he said she always complained about that and said that he treated her like furniture. Years ago, Michael gave a speech at a NAACP gathering in which he talked about the other rumors and why those rumors began. MJ fans found the photographer who sold those pictures and hit him horse manure. The cops even laughed at the guy. MJ fans let him know...it was funny. That is an example of how loyal we are to him.
