The Berlin wall was good; kept the Nazi people separated. An Hbomb on Germland is a matter of time, and all SS Mannen, ugly hund frauen and dumb Hitlerjugend teens/kids will evaporate together with their evil Karma. Then our world will be a great place!
@patel136 excuuse me. i am really sorry but i don't get you. maybe 0.3% of us Germans are still Nazi's. why should we germans still be nazi's? most of us despise them for what they did. dropping an 'Hbomb' on us would rather start a WWIII.
I'm sorry, but I have understood that German has taken lots of words from Latin and French, between others. I was just wondering if in the minute 2:02 Alex says to his mother "Aucun problème maman", which in French means "No problem mom". Thanks, I think this is a great film.
I noticed that Daniel Brühl's father in this film was Burghart Klaußner who also worked with him in 'The Edukators' which was another great film. German films are the most interesting in my opinion.
alex: what should have changed? oh, in case you get bored, you could listen to audio-cassettes. unfortunately, the radio is broken, but i'm gonna fix it.
mother: alex? ...nice to know one's not alone. ...when your father...when he was gone all of a sudden...i didn't believe i would be able to stand it. ...i've never told you...in my mind was the thought of harming myself.
daniel brühl, no hay`me alcanzan las palabraspara describierte... tierno, hermoso, excelente actor, buenas peliculas que reflejan tus ideales.. un chico de fierro. gracias...

translation, part 1:
mother: nothing has changed at all.
alex: what should have changed? oh, in case you get bored, you could listen to audio-cassettes. unfortunately, the radio is broken, but i'm gonna fix it.
mother: alex? ...nice to know one's not alone. ...when your father...when he was gone all of a sudden...i didn't believe i would be able to stand it. ...i've never told you...in my mind was the thought of harming myself.

part 2:
but you've been visiting me every day. you told me about school and Sigmund Jähn.
alex: you noticed that?
mother: ...i'm sorry to be a burden to you. i can't even go to the bathroom on my own.
alex: mama! we don't mind. the most important thing is that you get better.
mother: i'll do my best.
alex: you should rest now. i'm gonna go to the store, but ariane will still be here.
mother: oh, alex? i'm dying for some Spreewald pickles. could you get me some?
alex: no problem, mama.
