Honestly, now that I can ACTUALLY HEAR the music, as opposed to the explosions/epicness of the gameplay, it's not THAT bad, but DEFINITELY NOTHING compared to the original.

wtf is this? man the snes version killed this!!! it doesnt even remotely sound similiar to the original in any kind of way. i thought remakes were supposed to be the same or better than the original!! man they messed this up

@strawwberryred: That's because this Remake was done by Ubisoft,Not Konami =/ so they had to give it a Brand New Soundtrack due to Copyright...if this remake was done by Konami instead of Ubisoft,chances are we would have been hearing Remix from the Original Soundtrack instead of this one.

after listening to a couple of tracks...i "recommend" the old music than this. The old music way more catchier...and it gave that sense of rush and excitement when playing this game. Some the tracks in this version are barely recognizable.

Ugh, this version sounds so horrible. I heard the SNES version as a kid, and I still count it as one of my favorite video game songs.

But then this garbage came along and took a big shit right on my childhood. It honestly does sound like a MIDI file. I felt like I was back in the 90s or something, and I had just been welcomed to someone's Geocities page.

You know, maybe they should try taking the COOL parts from crappy old websites instead. I want some green skull GIFs up in this bitch.

For me, the music is a let down but hey, it's the turtles and thats all that matters. It's one of my fave games and I'm gonna play it bad music or not. I only hope I don't get Shellshocked by others. XD

Where did they get these instruments from? It sounds like cheap MIDI music. UbiSoft clearly made a big mistake when they picked the guy who made this music.

great tune, this and the menu are the only two tracks I really dig from this remake, the rest are just ok

also, does anyone else notice that the original "Bury My Shell..." music from the Arcade and SNES versions bears a resemblance to parts of the theme from the Clint Eastwood movie "For A Few Dollars More"

I think they were all made to resemble the original tunes. Like the main menu song for example. it starts off kinda like the SNES credits song, but then it changes.

That was one thing i was looking foward to this game for. The music. I am dissapointed.

Huh? NO it doesnt. This sounds like a drive around the park. Even the background looks that way.

This song is suppossed to sound like western train chase music, and have a western looking background.

For the most part, this game fucking rocks, but the music they decided to go with wasnt exactly the best.

IMO, I like this and the boss theme more than the original. But the rest of Re-Shelled's music is mediocre and/or good.
