@Timyo123 because they don't want retards making apps ;) lol jks. no this is the only way because lots of coding goes into apps. Temple run has over 300 lines of code for just the store!!!
Yes, Apple's development tools support using C, C++, or Objective C in any combination. However, Apple's frameworks are all written in Objective C, so you will end up with a mixture of Objective C and C++.
Hey man. This tutorial was great and i grabbed the source code. Now i mostly grabbed the code for the high score function, however if im not mistaken you didn't cover that in your tutorial? Could you help me with that?
Learning to build mobile applications is not an easy endeavor. It can be done, but you must have the drive and the aptitude (plus the time) to overcome the challenges. If you are looking to create a mobile app for your business (or idea), you would probably be smart to simply hire a qualified professional.
I know many talented (and affordable) mobile developers (freelancers and agencies). I'd be happy to provide an introduction.

Someone asked about an Xcode alternate for windows. We cant use Xcode on Windows to make apps for iphone? I know that Eclipse is really big for making Android apps on Windows.
Also, someone mentioned using Flash/ Actionscript 3. We can make apps for phones using Flash CS5??
Hi, not a computer guru and I would like to make my first IPHONE APP, does anyone know of an equivalent to Xcode that will work on Windows, I dont have a Mac computer?? Thanks :)
PS. I want to make the app, I dont want anyone to make it for me, teach a man to fish n all that :P
@TheRoonie2011 The only option if you have a windows computer is to use third party development tools. The only ones that I know of, that you can make iphone apps with, are Torque and Unity. Both of those programs cost a ton though.
@TheRoonie2011 Use Flash. ActionScript 3 is very easy to learn. I became fluent in only a few months. You can do pretty much everything with Flash (CS5/CS5.5) that you can do with Xcode, if not more
@TheRoonie2011 I run VMWare with MacOS Snow Leopard. With a few hours of hunting around you will have a decent dev platform(you wont win any speed records though). Forget making apps without Xcode.
Stupid auto buttons, well when I start getting the basic jist of how to make it all, I'll chuck a video up. But I plan to do this from scratch and on my own so I don't plagurise
Yeah I know man, I've already got all the ideas for it and I know basic coding so I'll teach myself from there. Once I get into this shot there's no stopping me haha
@joshuasaurus1991 The idea sounds really cool. If you do use Xcode to make the game. Can you consider making a tutorial for it? I would gladly subscribe and most like buy the game if you put it on the App store.
@clemson1013 Well, if it is an app that I make and put on the app store then I get paid by Apple, and they send it directly to my bank account. If it is an app that I am working on for someone else, then we come up with some agreement on how payment is going to work.
@ThaFooooosa As long as your app is not something that violates their rules, and it doesn't have a bunch of bugs in it, then you can get it on the store. You just have to sign up for the apple IOS developer program. It costs $100 a year, and you can put as many apps on the app store as you want.
Hey, I am trying to learn development for iPhone stuff. If I learn a lot and get an app on the app store that ets a lot of hits, I will donate some to you.
@gdorito Good for you... I have made many more difficult and better games. The point of these tutorials is to show how to make a SIMPLE game. As it is, it took me 10 videos. If it were any more complicated it would have taken an absurd amount of videos.
