@GC0020 Because its free and if you do dance already its something your good at or if not something you learn it keeps you fit trust me i trained 7 hours a week for my dance gcse it improves confidence its a creative outlet the list goes on

I did this for my GCSE and also got a b just weeks afer injuring myself really badly while practising this dance.. i got 20 out of 21 marks for this which is a good effort. I did it at A level as well and enjoyed evrey minute of it!! :D x x x

Really good, your movements should have been a bit more continuous (like flowing into the next move)...it seemed like they weren't related. But overall, it was really good.

i think that the way you dance is amazing! ive been looking at a few of the comments and i no for a fact that different schools teach the dance in a different way. but as long as all the people in one school are taught it the same then there is no problem. ive just done my exam and i got 15 for my set study i got 19 for my proformance and i got 24 for my composition, i do have a few videos but dont judge of them there old! your a great dancer you dont need us to tell you that! :) x

ur a bit fast and ur posture isn't very good but apart from that its good.

i was taught it a bit differently especially the ballet arms, but as i said i'm not sure if that was just my teacher.

But the whole point of the set study is for it to be exactly the same as the AQA version. He choreographed it to look a certain way and to include lots of styles, and its assesing your ability to dance to those styles. bits of ballet, hip-hop, contemporary in there. thats why the moderator looks at the entire classes set study together before individual moderation, to see if they have been taught it different Set study isn;t there to express individuality thats what choreography's for! :D

On the bit before you shoot your legs out towards the audience your supposed to go up with yur arms then down. timing is terrible sorry to say. you need to slow down and count the beats with the music. like hit hit up and down.. hands knees rock and rock.. Did you not get told the words before you actuall started learning it. your teacher must be kinda bad if she/he taught you like that. Anyway. Best of luck for whenever your doing or did it.. lol x

nice posture and execution, my tip would be watch the choreographer do his version of it and see which bits you are missing out. some steps, if not done xactly like his (like the A-frame will lose you marks if you arent on the back of your toes
