Nice plane, but it was hard to see most of the flying footage, would've been better without the top adverticing banner, sory no like or thumbs up on this video. Gret job on the plane!
Did you get the plans done ? Your plane is quite decent for a scratched built plane compared to some others I seriously advise you to add landing gear when you hand launched it, it did look very unstable and as a experienced flyer myself you need a lot of lift over those wings to get the real experience as hand launching can go wrong very easily witch nearly happend in your video :)
@Welltrusted landing gear ads weight, cost and complexity and causes drag. I find landing gear unnecessary with most of my plane. But you can ad them if you like. Hand launching this plane is easy. I only needed to apply more throttle before take off....that's why it looked a little unstable. I'm glad you seriously advice my plane =).
@justfly60482 ??? electronics? If that's the question then just click on the links to all the parts I used in the "more info" area of the video and then you can add up all the costs. Sorry I don't know off hand =).
Nice plane. I am working on the trainer now. My first RC plane. Got most of it done now. Was wondering what kind of paint you use on these planes that works well with foam board? Also since I am new, whats a good but economical controller that might worked for multiples of these planes? Thanks. Keep up the great vids!
@WillsRC WOW look at that we have the same name. Whoda thought. I see you just posted on Rcpowers video too along with others like imbefuddled etc. Welcome to the hobby I see you just created your account. I can't wait to see what videos you upload =)
So, it sounds like you like the gens ace batteries. Are those your favorite out of the hobbypartz batteries? just wondering because I was thinking of ordering myself a couple.
@MikeysRC@Allexxx96Reloaded love our weather out here (sunny and 70 degrees F). looks great in the air and is now more capable with the spoilerons and rudders.
Beautiful flight characteristics. This looks like it would be a good starter for folks wanting to get into EDFs, plenty of power but still very forgiving and easy to handle at slower speeds.
but if i ever get as good as you i could replace that dummy gatling gun in the fron with an AirSoft Electric Pistol i know some people are trying to put airsoft guns on rc planes but there using the cheap walmart stuff insted of the real airsoft tech so in mabye a year i could make this plane and have the first A-10 to shoot stuff out the gatling gun
also the orange tip of the gun would look like the sharks toung
this is awesome

@MikeysRC i agree with Welltrusted when you have rolling take off you have more lift on your wings and your lesss prone to stall on take off.
or you can run and then throw it

@mlee12345678 Yes mine has rudders but they aren't totally necessary to fly on my A-10.

Mikey, have you ever tried making a delta wing jet... E.g. Euro fighter... having a D-wing design may make the most manoeuvrable Rc plane.

when you build the next one, add a strip of foam in the corner ( inside the plane ) so you can sand them and make it rounder.
take a look at jetset44 plan TBH the canopy make the plane look really bad
