I personally don't understand why there is a war between Dance central and dance masters. I like dance masters better, but that's because I like the instruction of the moves better and the music I am used to from DDR. I have both games and have tried both. Dance central is VERY Americanized, and seems easier. I like the challenge of higher tempo songs. I do not thing there should be a war, for it depends on the persons likes and dislikes in each game that counts.

I played this game last night at a freind's.  It reads movements so well and is a lot of fun. The most fun were the parapara songs , i guess because I knew the dances already though; )

If it's anything Kinect can do right it would be dance games, i'm actually a bit impressed, what you can do with the Kinect on a computer is still cooler though.

When I have a good amount of cash, I definitely wanna pick this+the Kinect up to get back into it. @Koiyuki The ParaPara songs are the most fun songs in the game in my opinion. Some good songs on Dance Masters, but a lot are bad picks in my opinion. Another Konami Fail. Again, they kill a gaming genre because of their lack of effort. Dance Central is fun, but for me it is another let-down due to the song list. I wanted to dance to some awesome sounding dance tracks, and you just don't get that with Dance Central. :(
