Watching your husband wipe his tears made me cry.
I had 2 Cesareans and would like to experience normal birth one day.
With my first baby i was 3cm laying on my back for 18 hours and the Doc said Emmergency C-Section. With my second baby i was 8.5cm laying on my back with tubs, mask, etc for 2 days and the Doc said C-Section.
I guess i was not educated enough.
I cried with both births, that was my body they cut, that was my body they tore apart. I hope to have a vbac some day.
This was beautiful, congratulations! I'm a hba2c mom myself who's 3rd was almost a full pound bigger than my 'CPD' babe ;) The care providers, support team, & environment one chooses for birth make all the difference in the world! Thanks again for sharing, & congratulations!
HI this video is amazing! This is truly inspiring and I'm going to post it on my doula web site to inspire other women that they also can do this! This video inspires me! It is so beautiful and you are an amazing mom for truly doing the best thing that you can by having a natural birth!!! you go mama!!!!!
she is beautiful I cryed at the end to see such a beauty to be born at home I have two kids and both had to be born in the hospital I could not continue to have them at home.
I am going to use this video as proof to my ob/gyn that a vbac is sucessful after 2 c-sections. I am currently pregnant with baby number 3 and I was told that I was NOT allowed to try for a vbac b/c it wasn't possible for one to be done without killing my unborn child or myself!!!
I am not a Dr. or a Midwife...but you may have a lot of scar tissue...if you do than a VBAC can be risky. So be sure if you do or don't because if you don't then your risk should be low. =) Good luck! We have a lil' girl and my delivery was thankfully a vaginal one, it was amazing and I highly recommend birth to be done natural when possible. I was induced after going two weeks past my due date. I hope next time not to be induced, we plan to use a Birthing Center instead. =)
OMG! I watched this and cried my eyes out! 1st, both my kids were unplanned C-sections. (My 2nd I tried VBAC, but my Dr. was, unknowingly, "knife happy") I have always felt a somewhat incompleteness from it, & have always prayed that if we had more kids that'd I'd let GOD take over & go natural. This video just lifted my faith! &, just so happens this song is the main 1 I've always sang to my kids from birth! It all hit me like a wave! Congrats & thanks for sharing! Your story inspires us all
Very beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes, CONGRATULATIONS! There is nothing quite like the feeling of birthing a child from your vagina. I was blessed with two perfect vaginal births and if I have another child with definitely be having a homebirth. It is one of the most natural things in the world.
I dunno statistics, I have of little problems in homebirth (all solved), but nothing like a dead mother (or baby). That happen more in hospitals, because they want to manage the process... and ruin it.
Homebirths are very well calculated, ussually take place near of an hospital, are attended by doulas or midwifes, and the parents are aware about everything, they are very involved in the process.
(this was an answer to havermorphism, hope you'll see it) ;-)
Also, if a woman has a problematic pregnancy, she will be told to better go to the hospital, because in case or emergency, they have all the tools, but!!! believe me, "case of emergency" is not that common... most of those "cases" are created in the hospital, that's why they use so many machines all the time... and homebirths don't.
And, last but not least: CONGRATULATIONS to JO and CHRIS! :)
i love this video congratulations on a wonderful family that u have now....may god bless your home and family always !... remember behind good children are good parents !
Congratulation on your beautiful baby! It must have felt great- to have her at home, especially after 2 C sections. Very empowering message for all women out there! Thanks for posting!
Oh my goodness! I had NO idea that you could have a vaginal birth after 2 c sections!!!! I have been told it's way too dangerous, because your uterus can rupture at the old c section site. I have a 10 yr old son and a 6 yr old daughter and I hope and pray to have one more...naturally!!
That was a beautiful video, it brought tears to my eyes. I had a planned home waterbirth that turned into an unplanned c-section. Your video makes me feel good to think I will too someday have a hbac.
Beautiful..I to had a vBAC this May at a birth centre(In Australia)(no drugs) and even thou it hurt it was beautiful experience...I cried watching your video - thankyou for sharing
not all midwives are awsome tho..imnot triiing to b mean or any thing im not being judgemental...but when mymo hired a midwife for my birth, she didnt show up untill afer i was born!! we had a guy tht looked like a janiter whowas actually a doctor deliver me...very sweet video tho

natural child birth is disgusting and should not be condoned by any one. I have seen the videos on youtube and there is no way you can tell me that spitting an 8 pound baby out of the vagina is normal. C-sections are the only right way to have a child. And I also see no reason that the man is expected to take a day off work and be there at the birth...after all there is nothing he can do, its womens work!
You must be a man, thinking that way. I have had a ceserean section and it is very hard to recover from. It's major surgery. My husband would have had it no other way. There was no way that he would have missed the birth of his children...I'm guessing that you don't have any children...with that attitude. But I guess you have a right to your opinion
...you're exactly right. Birth is a beautiful thing! When you think about it, its another precious life being brought into the world. So yes, the daddy should be there. (1)so he can comfort his wife, (2)when the babies are grown, he can be proud to say--ever since the minute you were born, i love you
Congrats to you for being so strong and doing what you felt was best! I think we as mothers know our bodies better than Drs do. Congrats on your home birth at home even though you were told you couldn't!
Thank you thank you thank you! for sharing something so personal. My wife is about to( due three weeks today) attempt a natural birth (in hospital) vbac. After wayching that, I wish my daughter was old enough to be there, but no, 22mnths is a bit young. Inspirational video.
Thank you for sharing your birth story, it is so encouraging to others trying for vbac. Your children are beautiful and you seemed so peaceful through your homebirth. Amazing!
hi, I am a student midwife, and I have been so touched by your video! Thank you for sharing your experience and congratulations on your so lovely family. xoxo
Could you help me find a midwife and doula? If you don't mind could you give me information of the midwife that you use? I would really appreciate it. God bless!
This video was so inpirational and encouraging to me. I had a c-section with my first child because I had precclampsia and didnt know it. Unfortunately, I had a horrible doctor whose bad reputation proceed her.
But anyways, God sustained us through it all. I am now a couple of weeks pregnant with our second child and I want nothing less than a wonderful and successful VBAC. I have only had one c-section and you had two and did it. I know that I can too. May God bless you and yours greatly!
Wonderful video. Glad you got your wish. Hope you an your family are well really enjoyed watchin and I hope it gives hope to other MUMS just like you. Once again thank you. PS............. hope the next one will be the same. bye for now xx
I am just days from delivering my third and when I saw your first picture with all three kids together, I just started bawling like a baby! It made me so excited to have al three of my babies in my arms. Very good video and you are truly amazing! wow! I've never even heard of a hba2c!
Cesearean (or c-section) is a surgical birth. Usually done when there are complications and the baby can't come out vaginally. They make an insion in your lower abdomin and your uterus and pull the baby out that way. Very painful and lots of recovery time.
i almost cried when i saw this video. so touching! i really want to have a baby someday! :) it would be really feel wonderful that while ur giving birth, ur hubby is holding you...i also want a natural delivery.. congrats!
hi i am a boy named teddy i am 7 years old and i have scary eyes and no ears or nose if u do not send this to 15 people i will arrive in ur room tonight and i will bring my knife n stab u to death this is not a joke if u send this to 15 videos before u go to bed something good will happen either u will get asked out on the computer or someone will say that they luv u or they will call u at 10:22 u can not send this to me
You are beautiful and brave and an inspiration to me. My 3rd child was born via c-section in 2006 after 2 totally drug-free births. I'm planning a HBAC in late Nov-early Dec and although I'm also in doula training and armed with all the stats, I have to admit that there's a part of me that's absolutely terrified. I'm favoriting this and will be referring to it often during the coming months. Thanks so much for sharing and look for my similar story in December! :)
Really beautiful, had to watch a couple of times.Wish I had of seen this 18 months ago.I have had 3 cesarians.3 healthy boys.I still wonder what it would be like to have a baby naturally.Well done XXX
I am thinking about having a vba2c and I'm really nervous about it because my Ob(I'm going to have to switch) is really against it and told me all the awful things that can go wrong. Seeing that others have done it give me a bit more confidence.
You family is beautiful. God bless you all. Could you tell me the difference between a doula and a midwife?
also, if you now this...I am very light (95 pounds) and am 29 years old. My blood pressure is from law to normal. I would love to have a baby in the water. Do you think that what i said above is an impediment?
were you actually in the water when the baby came out?
A Doula is a support person who helps with pain management, positions, massage, communication, ect.A doula does not do anything medical, not even take your BP. A Midwife is your care provider, does everything an OB would do in a normal birth, she/he just does not do surgery like an OB can. Midwives are more specifically trained in the natural process of birth, which is why they are better for you if you are normal and low risk.
From what you have said, there is no reason you cannot birth anyway you want. Weight(before birth) does not matter, and anything else you would talk about with your care provider. I got out of the tub to birth, but only because I wanted to. I hope that helps.

u shouldn't let ur children watch u b in pain. when my newphew watched his sister being born. he couldn't stop having nightmares about his mom dying at birth.
1.Don't judge others you don't even know. 2. My child did not see me in pain, she saw me handle ctxtions with strength and determination, unlike how the way kids see women in labor on tv. 3.IMO You can't shelter kids from what is natural in life(good or bad) or they will not know how to handle life's dealings, BUT you CAN prepare them to handle life with strength and grace.
I think it would be amazing to have the kids watch. I think it would make it more of a family experience than just a mom and dad one. They get to see there baby brother or sister being brought into the world instead of being in the other room being curious about what is happening.
it matters how you present birth to children. My dd, who was at the birth of our 7th child, made the comment that, "wow, mom is working so hard...but that's ok....women are strong." she is not scared of birth, and that was a personal goal for us. she is looking forward to our next baby so that she can 'doula' her little sisters. children are so resilient!
WOW awesome Job!!!! Beautiful video!!!!!I just posted up a video of my pregnancy and after . My husband and I are so proud of her!!! she will be 1 on april 18th!!! congratz ;)
I love it!!! I had a c-section with my first & am preggo with my second which I will have another c-section with it.I am due in 6 months :) Congratz on Beautiful kids :)..BTW who sings this song??
You have a beautiful family and a beautiful story there.. I enjoyed it very much, You also brought me to tears.. I wish you and your entire family happiness forever.
Baby 2: I had very nice labour but I had too many people around, I stopped progressing Oxytosin drip made my labour spiratic Doctor said "my uterus was telling us that it cannot push the baby out" After the c-section he told me the head had been "stuck" and "it was like putting a tennis ball through a keyhole"-9lb 8oz
Baby 3: I consulted a midwife and she sudgested I have the baby at home, I did-10lbs!
Congratulations on a beautiful birth, and a hard-earned HBA2C! Few people VBAC by accident, and especially at home after 2 cesareans, so I know you fought for it! Way to go!
That was truly moving, and inspirational. I am due with a planned VBAC in 9 days, and watching that, not only made me cry, it reminded me of my determination to get the birth I deserve.
Well done you!! Congratulations. I'm glad you experienced a natural birth, I think everyone should experience both types of birth. Hopefully you'll now see that children from both types of birth are no more or less special in the end. Good luck to you all.
That was great video.. thanks for sharing! you are an inspiration to me. I had an unwanted c-section and plan on a VBAC, and seeing you do natural after 2 cesareans is amazing. again thanks very much!
Congratulations! This is so encouraging for women who have had previous c/s and been told they 'can't' have a VBAC. As a doula, I supported a woman last month who had her first vaginal birth after a c/s. It can be done!

whats caseareans..not natural birth?
JPXX1 3 years ago
Cesearean (or c-section) is a surgical birth. Usually done when there are complications and the baby can't come out vaginally. They make an insion in your lower abdomin and your uterus and pull the baby out that way. Very painful and lots of recovery time.

I am thinking about having a vba2c and I'm really nervous about it because my Ob(I'm going to have to switch) is really against it and told me all the awful things that can go wrong. Seeing that others have done it give me a bit more confidence.
rkerrnunez123 3 years ago
And I bet he does not tell you all the more horrible things that can go wrong in a cesarean.

You family is beautiful. God bless you all. Could you tell me the difference between a doula and a midwife?
also, if you now this...I am very light (95 pounds) and am 29 years old. My blood pressure is from law to normal. I would love to have a baby in the water. Do you think that what i said above is an impediment?
were you actually in the water when the baby came out?
thanks
millamaya 3 years ago
A Doula is a support person who helps with pain management, positions, massage, communication, ect.A doula does not do anything medical, not even take your BP. A Midwife is your care provider, does everything an OB would do in a normal birth, she/he just does not do surgery like an OB can. Midwives are more specifically trained in the natural process of birth, which is why they are better for you if you are normal and low risk.
joandchris18 3 years ago
Thank you so much for your answers. God bless you and your babies.
do you think a doula is very necessary?
millamaya 3 years ago
Her are some stats about what using a Doula can do.
50% reduction in the cesarean rate
25% shorter labor
60% reduction in epidural requests
40% reduction in oxytocin use
30% reduction in analgesia use
40% reduction in forceps delivery
To me it was, but everyone has different needs and wants.
joandchris18 3 years ago
Thank you :)
millamaya 3 years ago
From what you have said, there is no reason you cannot birth anyway you want. Weight(before birth) does not matter, and anything else you would talk about with your care provider. I got out of the tub to birth, but only because I wanted to. I hope that helps.

u shouldn't let ur children watch u b in pain. when my newphew watched his sister being born. he couldn't stop having nightmares about his mom dying at birth.
dog0820 3 years ago
1.Don't judge others you don't even know. 2. My child did not see me in pain, she saw me handle ctxtions with strength and determination, unlike how the way kids see women in labor on tv. 3.IMO You can't shelter kids from what is natural in life(good or bad) or they will not know how to handle life's dealings, BUT you CAN prepare them to handle life with strength and grace.
joandchris18 3 years ago
this is wonderful a true meaning of life wonderful and congratulations and god bless you and ur family ;)
BahlowHans 3 years ago
I think it would be amazing to have the kids watch. I think it would make it more of a family experience than just a mom and dad one. They get to see there baby brother or sister being brought into the world instead of being in the other room being curious about what is happening.
dinosaur123abc 3 years ago
it matters how you present birth to children. My dd, who was at the birth of our 7th child, made the comment that, "wow, mom is working so hard...but that's ok....women are strong." she is not scared of birth, and that was a personal goal for us. she is looking forward to our next baby so that she can 'doula' her little sisters. children are so resilient!

My hba2c
Baby 1: 2 weeks overdue Induced, broke water, no labour-8lb 5.5oz

Congratulations! This is so encouraging for women who have had previous c/s and been told they 'can't' have a VBAC. As a doula, I supported a woman last month who had her first vaginal birth after a c/s. It can be done!
