  • Th drummer at my church always tells me that cymbols sound better with age.

  • i have a zildjian 1" crash ride, which i described to mydrum teacher and she said its an early 70's zildjian a series

  • Hey, I've got this same cymbal!

  • @DanSoccerKing I'm just trying to figure out, where you guys found a 1" crash ride. LOL ringoone

  • did you end up washing it up or leaving it a bit dirty?

i know if youre into the warmer sound then the act of aging and 'collecting dirt' gives you that type of sound.

it sounds like this is warm, but bright, already! very nice.

  • The way I found it is the way I still have it, I don't want to wash away all those years of experience and personality. thanks

  • its all about personal preference. i wouldnt wash it either.

  • thanks!!!!

  • sounds like an avedis?

  • those would sound better with a wood tip it will make the sound so much richer

  • so this replace the 2 cymbals? no more crash and ride now crashride? if it does, NICE =)
