Heard the government wants all cars to be up to 50 MPG by the year 2025. Prius is doing it now in 2010. Guess it's 15 years ahead of the curve in Gas mileage. I have two of these 2010's now. Still love the car. Mileage is best in the Spring and Fall when no AC or heat is needed and not hard to get it up over 60 MPG. In the Summer if you run the AC a lot mileage will be around 50-51 MPG. Winter time it will drop to around 47-48. I've been told it is the Winter Gas and have to deal with it. :)

This is the first video I've seen featuring the Prius during night time driving; very good indeed. Wish the lighting was blue versus green, but I could live with it as is. Is it fun to drive? I have a '05 Corolla which is no fun, so I'm hoping the Prius would prove smile inducing.

The best car in the world.

Now it looks good and drives well.

It is in efficiency league of its own and yet it's a big, spacious family car, almost a midsize car. And fast. 0-60 in 10 sec.

It burns very cleanly, got 8 out of 10 EPA points for minimizing pollution, got ADAC top score beating 850 other cars.

It's extremely durable. Battery manages to withstand 300k+ miles. The gearbox will last forever as it's just a single set of gears. No clutch to wear and break down.

0-60 in 10 seconds is not fast. Most cars, 4 cylinders do it in 8 seconds, althought Scions, etc. do it in 10 seconds. Most V6 car's now are 5.5-7 seconds, huge difference.

What a moron. The prius is a hybrid. AKA it has TWO engines in it a gas and an electric. Therefore, it is MUCH heavier than the "most 4 cylinders" you talk about it. So 10 seconds is actually very impressive for a HYBRID. Know the facts before you start hating on this great car. Idiot.
