It is unbelievable how many dumbasses are on YouTube. I mean, seriously, is it THAT hard to read a fucking description? It clearly says what he put in there: a legitimate copy of the PAL version of Gran Turismo for the PlayStation, and it says that the disc was neither a burnt copy nor a scratched/damaged game. And many people don't seem to realise that "Red Screen of Death" is only a nickname for it. Arrogant assholes.

I got a problem with my PlayStation2 but idk if anyone can help it's the red light tht appears in the reset button then after i was playing for a while the PS2 turns off automatically and the red light from the reset button starts flashing quickly... @PolishedMetal Well first check the fan and make sure it's working. You should be able to hear if it's running properly. If the fan is fine I can't help much further.
HOPE THIS HELP!: check your disc and look for the ps1 logo on the left. under it ,it will be PAL or NTSC U/C. PAL does not work for my ps2 for some reason, it gives me a red screen when i put it in. but all the other disc i have said NTSC U/C and it works. so yeah comment me back to see if this works
@Rated10STARz That would be because you live in the US and have an NTSC system, PAL games will not work. I live in Australia, so it's opposite. NTSC games will not work on my system.

I put in a Weeds disc in my ps2 and I got this, I nearly cried. Windows BSoD is nothing compared to this shit. However, the XBOX GSoD is a hundred times scarier. I used to be addicted to video games, but now I'm a technophobe.
i reember one morning it was 5:00 a.m. and i was restarting a game and this came up i was five at the time and im all:SISSSSTERERR MY PS2 AINT WORKIN!!! lol.
This screen scares me and gives me nightmares! Like I saw my first one at age 7 and I s**t myself. I didn't cry or scream, I just shaked. But in my nightmare, I was playing my PS2, all happy and having fun and stuff, then I wanted to insert this game. I put it in and the error screen was there. Then, this fricken scary thing came right out of the TV and squished me!
lol same with me. my PS2 failed to read the disc, and instead of saying " Disc read error" or " The Disc could not be read" that red screen came up with the horrid sound, and i ran ..
lol i used to keep resetting it until it worked, but here's a trick. when u reset u hear like 2-3 clicks (if u listen closely to your PS2) and when it stops it means it didn't read it so what u wanna do is keep resetting it until those first 2-3 clicks have come but its still keeps on clicking for a while, thats when u know it read it, takes awhile though
The light only comes on if it gets into the game and the game turns analog on, which is not with all games. And most games that do that turn the light on well into the game, after you know its working.
I think you need to put a Note 3 in the video description, so people can understand better, which may say ''NOTE 3: The game I put in wasn't a hacked/burnt/copied game/disc, it was a genuine/proper PS1 game.'' or something like that. But if they don't read that, put somewhere in the description (or the title of the video), Read Description, or something like that. Hope this helped.

the first time i saw it was on the 27th of june 2004 put n AR(action replay)in the ps2 volume at 70. The noise blasted through the house.I ripped the power cord out of the system and didn't touch the ps2 for a month.Now i think the screen is ok but the noise is like HELL.Use it as a prank on my mates sometimes

@PolishedMetal I believe that means there is a hardware problem. Does it feel hotter than normal? Most commonly this is overheating.

I put in a Weeds disc in my ps2 and I got this, I nearly cried. Windows BSoD is nothing compared to this shit. However, the XBOX GSoD is a hundred times scarier. I used to be addicted to video games, but now I'm a technophobe.

This screen scares me and gives me nightmares! Like I saw my first one at age 7 and I s**t myself. I didn't cry or scream, I just shaked. But in my nightmare, I was playing my PS2, all happy and having fun and stuff, then I wanted to insert this game. I put it in and the error screen was there. Then, this fricken scary thing came right out of the TV and squished me!

lol i used to keep resetting it until it worked, but here's a trick. when u reset u hear like 2-3 clicks (if u listen closely to your PS2) and when it stops it means it didn't read it so what u wanna do is keep resetting it until those first 2-3 clicks have come but its still keeps on clicking for a while, thats when u know it read it, takes awhile though

The light only comes on if it gets into the game and the game turns analog on, which is not with all games. And most games that do that turn the light on well into the game, after you know its working.

I think you need to put a Note 3 in the video description, so people can understand better, which may say ''NOTE 3: The game I put in wasn't a hacked/burnt/copied game/disc, it was a genuine/proper PS1 game.'' or something like that. But if they don't read that, put somewhere in the description (or the title of the video), Read Description, or something like that. Hope this helped.

the first time i saw it was on the 27th of june 2004 put n AR(action replay)in the ps2 volume at 70. The noise blasted through the house.I ripped the power cord out of the system and didn't touch the ps2 for a month.Now i think the screen is ok but the noise is like HELL.Use it as a prank on my mates sometimes
