In the scene beginning at 0:51 to 0:58, there is a man at the helm of the catamaran. I'm pretty sure that's Woody Brown, one of the most famous big wave riders in the world and an early pioneer of surf history and culture. He made a living wildly sailing people around on the catamaran that he built based on ancient Hawaiian scematics. The boat and sail colors matched Woody's boat. This is a great clip. Woody Brown is a hero among surfers.
