In the eighties and beginning nineties in France "General Hospital" was first called "Hôpital central", that's the the correct translation and near to the original title. They cancelled the soap about the year 1994 and it came back 2008 with the "Alliances &trahisons" title and the translatio means alliances and betrayals. However after one month on air the French TV cancelled it a second time and it never came back.
@Restlessi America won the competition I guess but I guess the French people changed the name so that ABC couldn't sue them because other countries from what I understand may not have the same rights with copyright material but I'm at least glad you mentioned that technically in english I'm watching Alliances and betrayals.

I have the same opinion you have. Soap needs time to find its audience. They dropped All my children too. The only soaps which were lucky in France are the bold and the beautiful, loving and Days o.olives and the young and the restless

3.)When was the last time the currect sequence was updated? Right, in April, ten months after the previous update.
