OBAMA ended Constellation Space program!Empty words/dreams without action/funding are hallucinations OBAMA!Space exploration's one of greatest ongoing endeavors of mankind!NASA programs are FRACTION of cost most everything else DC wastes money in inefficiencies.For great presidents ie Kennedy,reach for space,discovery,achievement,is worthwhile.Obama acts as if space exploration is a one time Achievement.Obama continues US on path to international mediocrity!How dare Obama end constellation!? :(
Obama returning to the scene of the crime of his attempt to destroy NASA human spaceflight? I stil cannot believe today that so many of America's space heroes, even Neil Armstrong had to go before congress to testify Obama space policy.
WE SUPPORT YOU NASA! RETURN TO MOON! GO ORION! HANG IN THERE!
yay nasa and usaid...and i was pleased with the honoring of shepard jr.. the saturn flights were my first taste of space exploration (i so wanted to be an astronaut)...and pharrel williams and leland melvin are now part of my heroes of the community list. YOU ALL ROCK!!
Pres. Obama's visit to KSC is a good sign - it symbolizes that he endorses scientific and technological advances.
On the other hand, very irritating that the launch was scrubbed - the shuttle program is infamous for its shortcomings.
Other topic that interests me in this update is the piece on the Voyager crafts; but nothing new there, they just reiterated the achievements of Voyager I and II. It's amazing how far out they are, though - that always stuns me; and gets me thinking.
@dKlompas i do wish the Obamas had gotten to see a launch. It's life altering. Seeing that stuff up close is pretty life changing as well- until you see it all up close you don't realize the size and scope of it all. I was not a huge NASA supporter until i saw it all- and then all of a sudden i realized HOW IMPORTANT NASA's work is. Seeing a launch is like a religious experience. I hope it inspired him to push for more funding.
@CessnaDriver2 ...it's as royal as it's get's ...in America!.my friend!..I understand your point!....The Kennedy's were considered royal!....??...please unsterstand my point of view sir!...ron paul 2012
:) now we see something more meaningful than president Obama going down and going in the helicopter without seeing it flight! hehe... Thanks NASA for this TWAN! :)

Obama is not royality. This is America. We fought a revolution over that nonsense.
