@skulljoint UT3 is actually alot different. while unreal championship pits like 8 people into smaller maps and is a total brawl, UT3 has HUGE MASSIVE maps with large vehicles and stuff and is also all about the shooting where as this game has no only the shooting but a deep melee system to it as well. Both games are HELLA RAD. I have UT3 for computer and UC2 for Sexbox and me and my buddy play them both.

Awesome game but I think it was dedicated for online gaming than offline.

There's no Story Mode (as far as I can remember) which is a shame, because playing offline against bots is no fun. :-(

When you began a death match on the challenges you pause press white and black button, pause again exit the match. and there it is Raiden unlocked funny thing is that you could also play with him online,

(so any 13 year old could play as raiden)

Unreal Championship 2 was better than the 3rd and the 1st combined. I was a "God" at the game but I still never unlocked Raiden I think they shouldv'e fixed that.

This game is a prime example of when you don't just make a shooter on a console, but you make a shooter that is specifically tailored for play on a console, and it just WORKS. To this day, this is still one of the best shooters on consoles. It saddens me that it sold EXTREMELY poorly, despite widely positive reviews. Goes to show, popularity is only a measure of mass appeal and not quality.

changing gameplay isn't a risk. If you can do something, do it and do it right. Also, this viewpoint doesn't change a shooter, it's just a viewpoint. Stop associating games with generalized categories or other games just say what's in it. This has shooting and melee combat combined, both are done well, and both work together well. This is high quality which anyone could make. Don't associate quality with certain features, any developer could make things well if they bother.

well, i don't have uc1 but i do have uc2, and the story is easy to follow, which is pretty much standard for epic games (and i mean it as a compliment). my advice: buy uc2!

Hm ut3 and this is a big diffrence :P You can prolly throw in some mutators to make championship2 play and look(not as nice graphics of course) a bit like ut3 , but it wount go the other way around . At then end i spend ages on champ2 and just a few weeks with ut3 ... lol

you know you can cheat and get raiden? thing is you can cheat on each misson in the challenge mode to get to the end of it. It wont count as completing em all obviously so you wont have raiden.yet. all you need to do is complete the first challenge and you unlock Raiden. I didnt cheat to unlock him. I unlocked him the first day, and after looking up some cheats I saw the cheat menu and decided to try that.
