Thanks for the videos. I just started building these not too long ago and do not know how to play... Now once I have one built for myself I will be able to learn how to play it.
great lesson. this is key to learning. stick with a song I've heard 1000 times and is already in my head, and show a nice simple way to play it, and expand on it with leads and embellishments. doesn't hurt that its a rocking tune as well. thanks for this! - Jon
How about me coming to your place for lessons? You give me hope, I thought I wasnt smart enough to play but you make it understandable, thanks, JimmyC
Stumbled upon this. That guitar is pretty cool, I know nothing about music and it makes me want to build one. One thing I do know though, it's "Gazed in wide wonder" not "window." :)
@vegasf6 All of my videos are also posted in a place called Handmade Music Clubhouse under a group tab called CBG Lessons for Dummies.(my user name there is LJ) But you will also find all the help you need to build your first CBG. I say 1st because it wont be your last. You will meet some of the greatest people there that are willing to help. And if your in a hurry just about all of us will sell them. But nothing beats playing a song on an instrument you built yourself. Thanks for the comment.
My name is Andy, from Ireland living in England.Been playing 6 string for 3 years.Just built my first 3 stringer.Your lessons are great.Am having sooooo much fun.You are a good guy.
Thanks for the vids! This is just what beginners need to really bring things together and get playing those newly built CBGs. Keep up the excellent work!
