lol berail i dont think it matters what speed you travel you still age the same. The point is that if yuo looked at a clock travelling away from it at the speed of light times SEEMS to have stopped, because the light is travelling at the same speed you are away from the clock. Its got nothing to do with ageing. (The speed of light does not have anything to do with your age)

An atomic clock sent on a supersonic flight actually runs measurably slower than one that has remained stationary - and this is at speeds much less than 1% of the speed of light! At higher speeds the effect is much greater. Yes it's called Relativity and it actually works.

i don't really check the comments i make very often. but Urbanomics it's definitely true that at higher speeds the time you experience is slower, hence why Ender is Orson Scott Card's books could live to be thousands of years old. it explains the whole concept in one of those books. possibly Speaker For the Dead

yea thats the concept but the only problem you would have is that the closer you are to the speed of light the more elongated you body would be, not to mention the fact that you would gain incredible weight...its physically impossible for a normal body to undergo that change without serious after-effects...:)
but the fact of how speed affects time is ultimately true:)

Ger18m, we're not travelling at the speed of light, the only way to see light is for it to reflect off something, such as the ground, or the dust in the air. without that we could not see light at all, and the only reason it can make it to the object to reflect off of is because we are NOT moving at the same speed as light, very far from it

but, you would have registered going that 10,000 years also in no time, so it would seem like everything just flowed normally, even though to everyone else you would have been standing in the exact same spot the whole 10,000 years.
the twin paradox seems to be the name people address it as. it states that if there are twins born on the same age, one leaves earth near the speed of light 5 years and comes back(10 years total) that twin would barally have aged while the other aged 10 years.

Einsteins theory of relativity states that if you are moving at extremely high speeds, you appear to yourself at going normal speed, but to all observers not travelling at that speed, if they can see you then you will be moving very slowly, at the speed of light time is completely frozen so if you were to go 10,000 light years to a different planet at the speed of light exactly, you wouldn't have aged even a milisecond of time.(assuming there was no process of speeding up and slowing down)

yeah, except that he only uses the ² in e=mc² as basically to say, this is only an expression, it will never have an answer. because you can never multiple a mass times a speed, and so he was just showing the vastness of it because at the speed of light your mass turns into pure energy, and theres a hell of a lot of it! ^_^;;

There are countless conclusions e=mc² brings us to, one of the most interesting is that as an object approaches the speed of light the mass increases. If the speed reached c, in theory I believe everything would stop, as it literally, is too heavy to move.

well, i dont think that the mass increases, what einstein said is that the mass is a way of energy that explain the e=mc2, c= a constant, so u can say that m= e/c2, that means that mass is an energy / by speed, i dont know exactly how the effect of no time gets into this equation, thats all i know, how does the no time effect gets into this idk if u know pst me or something cause i will love to know
