@Whitews6transam true dual is overrated....get the slp as it is cheaper and allows the most muffler options if you dont like the sound of slp which i hate personally.

i just bought..2000 firebird with LS1 59k miles awesome i noticed it has one giant muffler in back can it take 2 mufllers or just a better muffler for sound quality?id like to keep stcok cuz of mass inspection but aftermarket muffler not too loud but sound better then stock,u have any ideas?in fact in an yr or so i'll be movin to one of the carolinas

Car did sound nasty when I had it. Car just had ms3 cam put in, dual valvesprings, pushrods, stock rockers. Car with tuned with a mail order tune.

does it get shitty gas mileage with the cam? Im about to cam mine, and i'm thinking of installing a 231/237 so i'm just wondering what you get with your bigger cam.

The car can actually get surprisingly good gas mileage cammed and everything. I drove the car to North Carolina and back from PA and averaged 26MPG on the highway crusiing 75-80 the whole time. Now if your always on it, dont expect anywhere close to that. With average around town and some highway driving it averages 22MPG.

The car is red not SOM..I wish lol.

The SES light is on b/c when I did the long tubes it eliminated 2 of the O2's, just throws that code. Cam specs are: 237/242 .603/.609
