I hate it when people use "I just had a baby" as a crutch for letting themselves get out of shape, or stay out of shape. I know a lot of women who have more than one child and have toned abs. One of them has had four kids, and has a six pack.
@nnglfc13 You have obviously have never had a child. Your body goes through a ton of changes because of the birth, weight gain, horomones etc. It takes a while to loose the weight you gained. Plus you are taking care of the baby 24 hours a day and you don't have time to exercise. You don't know what you are talking about.

I didn't mean to insult anyone. I was venting. I had two days of people making excuses and blaming their circumstances on everything and everyone else. They never take any of the responsibility. When babies are newborns, it's easy to work out because they just sleep most of the day. And i never felt like i had to be less than two feet from them. I can leave them in their crib or whatever. It's a little harder on the days that I work, but on my off days, I had all day to do a 45 min workout.
But I understand that some people really do have harder situations. I have a good job and a military husband. Granted, he's gone six months every other year, but still. Many have to work two jobs and have a dead-beat husband, or no husband at all. I'm not trying to be insensitive. Like I said, I hate excuses, so I was venting. I'm sorry. You don't have to be an athlete to be beautiful. No sir-ee. Just be as happy and as healthy as you can be. :)
