  • how much does the blower cost?

  • Does anybody now how to gain traction on mustangs? Every time im trying to race my tires spin a little to mutch, and does yall mustangs shake at around 750 and 1300 rpms;?

  • @brownmexican1995 I can not get traction either, even with full race slicks. Need more suspension work!

  • @brownmexican1995 your best bet for aid in traction is to talk to the guys at roush about a independent rear suspension kit or do like the old timers and do some traction bars.

Mustangs have a live rear end witch makes it great for drifting and burnouts but off the line you need big money in the suspension

  • @usnavy1f I am finding this out. I am working on more rear end upgrades.

  • i have v6 2011 but is automatic.. do you think is good ida to do this with my car anyway or?

  • the new 3.7 has 305 hp factory while the "old" 4.6 had 300hp factory.

  • @medic2592p Correction: The 4.6 it had 315 :/

  • @FreakyKing2 Correction only the 2010 gt had 315hp,2005-2009 had 300hp

  • @medic2592p yea but the v8 had more torque, of course,

  • why would you ever even waste your time on a 6 banger Mustang when there is soooo must power to gain from a turbo set up on a 4.6?

  • @possmguts 4.6L Is "old" now. The 5.0L Unit is much nicer and the 3.7L produces almost the same amount of power as the 4.6L.

  • That`s DAMNED impressive !

  • As much as I like the 5.0, the V-6 is by far the best bang for the buck, put in 5 or 6 G's and still comes in under the GT's price....Oh, and nice ride bro!

  • @vix121 thanks I have 2 second place show awards to date!

  • @vix121 - and it's lighter and faster than the 5.0. This really is the way to go, and I suspect Ford would have done something similar (maybe use its 3.5 Ecoboost?) were it not for the Cult of the V8 that they have to cater to.

  • @DroverChicago You;re right -- best combo in my mind is the ecoboost v-6 and since I'm lazy a 6 speed double clutch automatic .

You wanna make my week add an all wheel drive option for us snow bound fucks ----- and if you're at it add independent rear suspension for my old bones ..

What you have then is a Taurus that does'nt look like a piece of shit .

  • its not the worlds frist supercharged v6 dyno run

  • put a 3.8LC kenn bell on that bitch get it in the 500HP range for sure

  • @krypekeeper I am not so sure. Maybe low end torque but they don't have the top end of a centrifugal. Plus I could get 500 RWHP if i wanted to turn up the boost, but I also want to keep the stock motor intact. ;)

  • @V6MustangPerformance wouldnt have to worry about the motor at only 500hp

  • @V6MustangPerformance oh wait, shit. im thinkin of 5.0...

  • How long will this engine last before the bottom end lets go?

  • ford needs to make an Ecoboost V8 and put it in the mustang GT. Heck, put it in the Fiesta!

  • Now this is the way it should be done .Great work .

I've been debating about getting the 6 or the 8 . I think the choice is clear .better economy and just as much power ..

Where do I sign up .

  • @millwrightman99 are you high, there 5.0 push 700+ hp on a STOCK block come on now get real.

  • @wtfruthinking1986 You misunderstand my meaning -- the stock 3.7 has just as much power as an old 4.6 and more than enough for my street needs .

plus its about 10 grand less and gets much better mileage is less prone to be stolen --- is easier on parts & can be made to look as mean as hell .After its broken in I'll install a supercharger or a turbo .( just for the hell of it )

The only place I need 700 hp is in my pants .

  • Wow... straight cut gear are LOUD....

  • Impressive. What's it run on the strip

  • Im thinking about getting one of these, and I have a bama 91 octane tune as well, so can I use the bama tuner for the supercharger upgrade? If i can, id just go with the tuner kit which has no fuel injectors and computer tune.

  • @anjunabeats91 Yes you can get a custom tune. We use SCT from the factory. Deatchwerks has 65# injectors for this application.

  • hey is that the regular lip spoiler on the back or is it the gt500 spoiler

  • @matt25675 3d carbon GT500 spoiler. Much nicer than factory!

  • Full exhaust setup would improve

  • Why do people think the v6 is something to compare to a v8 ford should have never come out with the v6

  • do you think a automatic trans could handle this kit? and the stock rear axel?

All i have right now is a BAMA 91 oct tune/CAI and MRT axelback exhaust.

im happy with performance. But thinking supercharger in a couple years lol

  • @bottle2lip Yes. Procharger has not developed the tune for the auto trans. But they have test fit the unit. CFM in florida put one on their auto trans 3.7L mustang.

  • i think it said 399 hp, and with wcf 427hp

  • @jcmknl2005 That's what I saw too 396rwhp .

  • @Naturalhit look at the "with WCF" thats the HP.

  • hey is that air filter coming out of the supercharger a cold air intake? does it eliminate the need for an aftermarket one? if its not a cold air intake is it possible to run an aftermarket cold air intake with this supercharger?

  • @matt25675 Well its an open air filter. Just like a CAI. It is included in the supercharger kit. It is designed to fit the special intake pipe. A different unit might not fit. a CAI heat shield box could be useful. I contacted three different CAI companies, but none of them were interested in making one for this particular application.

  • thats the quietest 423 ever seen on dyno

  • How much money does this set up run?

  • has anyone tried any turbos or superchargers that boost OVER 8 psi? or is there some limitation?

  • @GDYP Well I am running 9psi now. Its limited by the injectors. The 50# injectors are just about maxed out at 9spi.

  • i say it needs a 4.3 stroker...to bring that torque up lol

  • 400 + rwhp nice, my gt @ 8 psi will run 370+ rwhp, go ford gooooo.

  • @mrdragking13

but whats the tq??? haha a LOT more :P

  • anyone know of any other supercharged 2011 v6 mustang videos?

  • @blackcrisis2004

There are none yet that exist. :P

  • I am desperately wanting to see track numbers with this thing.

  • i have the automatice, is available for automatics? if so, when?

  • @revbazan

Well I know PC is working on an Auto. i am not sure if its a full kit or just a tuner. You would have to call customer service to know for sure.

  • Will this be something that is available for the 2011 F150 with this motor?? Thanks

  • @rmfhobson that engine is already turbocharged

  • @ktmlover90

No, the ecoboost is the one that is turbocharged in the F150.

  • if ford got this power in the old 4.0, with this supercharger, it make put down the same hp, but a way higher tq maybe 350, who knows tho

  • when are we gonna see a video of this beast running at the track ..i want to see the 1/4 mile numbers

  • Ok so is this actually available yet?

  • @ktmlover90

Yes you can order the kit now

  • virtually it might be unchanged, but I would like to know the real world numbers. if u can provide me those numbers it will be great.

  • @jsrooprai

Go to the tips section on the website v6mustangperformance d o t c o m and read the real world gas mileage page. They will not let me post a link on here. :P

  • Nice!

  • What will be the MPG after this? plz reply

  • @jsrooprai Virtually unchanged. That is if you can keep your foot out of it. Then it goes twice as fast. :P

  • Look at those TQ numbers...your top end is going to be sweet, but getting off the line in a hurry won't be so easy! only 311tq???

2010blown has it right "tq wins races hp sells cars"

  • What does WCF stand for?

  • @BL00D4NG31 Weather Correction Factor.

  • @V6MustangPerformance

SAE corrected is the more common term

  • Nice!! now get it back to the track and bust some 11's!

  • @JTsStang Working on it. Stay tuned :D

  • nice work guys. already planing for a procharger system for my 2004 3.9L Mustang

  • 8psi is a safe street tune. A custom tune might get another pound of boost. You could also put larger injectors and larger FMIC for even more. If enough of these kits sell then ProCharger will develop a stage II kit. I will be putting a full exhaust system on the car and then lets see what it puts down.

  • @V6MustangPerformance I was just looking more in depth into the video and noticed the TQ?!? very disappointing, why is it so low? I'm sure you know the saying "HP sells cars and TQ wins races"! Hopefully your supporting mods will up that TQ up!

  • Wow, it looks crazy under the hood :P Really sweet numbers! Now, since this is the first, Do you think this is the max boost you can put on the stock block? Would upgrading cams even help (partly because Ford put in some sweet cams already in this car)...is 8psi street friendly or is this for strictly track?

    Thanks

  • I wonder if it will break into the 11's

  • How much will it cost?

  • awesome video, awesome car, awesome procharger!!! Glad i bought this car!!

PROCHARGER EXPECT A CALL FROM ME FOR THIS KIT!!!!!

  • @ldecharmoy

id wait a little bit longer....those numbers look weak imo! 427rwhp is sweet but only 311tq.....hopefully supporting mods would bring that tq up!

  • @Roush20115XR It's 344lb/ft of torque with WCF, which is still more than the 2010 Mustang GT had..not too bad considering it still only has 6 cylinders.. If you want torque, then you gotta get twin-turbochargers.

  • @Cosmo1093

Sorry i must have missed that 344! But still? if your paying all that money you should be getting something insane! Example, you said the 2010 GT, with full bolts, cams makes around 340rwhp and 330tq (maybe more but it depends on cams, like comps cams) then add a s/c and your well over 400+ rwhp and tq! So yeah good for a six, but i KNOW other s/c and turbo companies will beat procharger, these numbers seem weak for 8lbs of boost

sweet numbers, but i KNOW this 11 have more in it

  • @Roush20115XR A 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 with a Procharger supercharger gets over 500rwhp lol..and would probably be cheaper than doing all that to a 2010 Mustang GT.

I agree, and there will definitely be more powerful aftermarket superchargers/turbos soon. The 3.7l just hasn't been out long enough yet.

  • @Cosmo1093

oh i agree 100% on the 5.0 and s/c thing, i was just using 2010 cause you mentioned it earlier! If you just want a GT and a cheap cost the 2010 is the way to go (discounts were pretty insane before) but you can't beat the 5.0 for 30k and all that power and potential power!

All im saying is i would wait before i jumped on this kit! the top is great, but where it counts is all that low end torque! still crazy numbers though

  • @Roush20115XR V6's rarely have good low-end torque unless you strap on twin turbos, but those are way more expensive than a single supercharger.. I'm just waiting to see what else will come out before I get anything.

  • That is crazy power!

  • skip to 0:53 for the good part..
