Oh my God I was in tears after they finished. Brought back so much of good memories and especially of Jack Lord one of the greatest actor and a good soul at that. Nothing at all like all the shallow, bloated egotistical so called actors that we get nowadays. Read in google that he gave away $40million upon his passing and his long time wife. @bplayer47 His name is Nokie Edwards and he may be playing a custom made guitar by a guy called Tony

Hunt. The weird looking thing on his guitar is called a Bigsby Palm Pedal.

Another guy, Jerry Hayes, reckons that he made the custom Bigsby Palm Pedal set up on an old Telecaster that Nokie brought in one day to a guitar store he was working at.

Awesome!! And with the longest running Ventures lineup from the '60's, including the late Mel Taylor on drums and the late Bob Bogle on bass, and of course the incomparable Nokie Edwards on lead guitar. I'm sure Max Weinberg had a blast playing with those guys. Sure would like to own this complete video. I think Peter Frampton joins them later in the set. The Ventures influenced countless musicians throughout the years. Rock on, guys, you are my Guitar Heroes!

I have been a Ventures fan since I was a kid, and have about 20 of their albums, and CD's. This is perhaps the best video I have ever seen for pure /awesomeness/!!

Dual drums, and they don't need no stinkin' horn section. Love the original, but think is the best version I have ever heard.  Glad they finally made the Rock Hall of Fame/Shame. Too bad I never got a chance to see the original lineup.

Max Weinberg is the most underrated drummer of all time, next to Ringo Starr. He is the Bruce Lee of drummers; controlled force. His precision and solidity shows such discipline. I'm 18 years old, and listen to all kinds of music where you'd think drummers were out to kill their drums. Less is more, baby!

Gawd that was an awesome performance and very difficult to achieve with any accuracy. Both drummers rolled them down and knocked it out of the park. I just wish the synth guy had been there with the brass section to bring it all around, that would've been kick butt.
