in armata romana se fac restructurari pana in 2015 armata romana va avea 80 de mii de oameni si da armata romana nu isi permite sa cumpere aparatura noua care trebuie reinoita pana in 2014 si de aceea cumparam avioane F-16 care au ca an de fabricatie 1970 cumparam cateva noi si binenteles mai multe vechi.

But I can give you MY answer: These guys don't do it for the money as most of us would be tempted to think. The money is not that much.I think I am earning now the same as a junior romanian officer in these task forces and I don't have to do my job at 50 C with half of the Iraquis or Afghans shooting at me. They don't do it because of the orders either: they are all volunteers.

I never said the soldiers do it for the money. If they did they would be classed as mercenaries. But they are regular soldiers like anyone. Its certainly NOT their fault as they follow orders, its the GOVT to blame, and they r not paying them enough. why a volunteer would go to get shot in these countries? ???

It was for OIL not for WMD and well... it was just another bad deal - the whole oil in the m. east is not worth the price of all the USA losses there. They started the shit, yes, (alongside UK), but somebody has to clean it.And who will? France said no. Germany said no more, aufwiedersehn! Spain did right until the part when hundred civilians died in Madrid 2004.Switzerland, Israel, Sweden - they won't bother. Who else is there left?We, the cezcks, and a few others. Once again : we are not there to fight or to kill. There are supply transports that somebody has to protect, there are civilians and children who have to be taken care of, there is the new iraqui army and police who have to be trained. That's where we come in.

Yes, I told u already it is only my version. But take into account one thing: Romania sent troops (fire brigades for the burning oil wels, camp hospitals, medical personal and so on) even since '91, at the end of the 1st Gulf war.Not a single Romanian company received any contract to rebuild a fcking bridge. Damn, is anybody actually rebuilding something there? I don't see it.

I tell you what, all the contracts are with the americans and the brits, some germans are also involved in Afghanistan. In Dubai there are lots of British/USA companies supplying goods and cashing in on this, what did your country get? Well ask the govt. they will tell you.If they dont get anything then why are they proud to be with the USA there?
