I love dan barker so much. More then Dawkins and Hitchens combined. I look him used to be an Evangelical, honest true christian. so i can relate to barker so much. hes so inspiring. and i still have the same holy spirit feelings now as an atheist that i had as a christian. It's quite amazing honestly.
I DID give Dan Barker's "non-tract" to an evangelist last week. The guy took it, explaining that he didn't have "religion", he had a "relationship with Jesus Christ". So a couple of minutes later he exclaimed, "hey, I'm not going to read this garbage!". So I asked how he knew it was garbage if he hadn't read it, and he replied, "well, it says "Freedom From Religion Foundation". My response was, "well, you just told me "religion" is a bad thing, so an anti-religion tract should be good, right?"
Rmember Barkers comment on "winnig" an argument with a believer and how it only confirms their faith because it was really the devil who was speaking?
