that was very helpful MashaAllah! I could totally identify with the camel example. :/ happened to me. started memorizing...had a gap....and then kept getting worse :(
May Allah give me the the taufiq to resume, retain and remain consistent
Alhamdullilah, Jazakallah khair, I downlaoded to my Iphone, Masha Allah. I hope they can come to US. May Allah (SW) connect all the Muslim People together and strength OUr deeen and Knowledge..Allah is the greatest..
salaam all, one good way to memorise something and keep it in your brain, and to repeat it over and over again and then from memory WRITE it down, inshallah this method will help you keep whatever it is your memorising in your brain.
AL-PRAISE IS FOR ALLAH AZZA WA JAL ALONE. VERY USEFUL LECTURE, I REALLY WANT TO LEARN THE HOLY QURAN AND I NOW HAVE MANY GOOD IDEA'S ON HOW TO IMPROVE. MAY OUR ALLAH BLESS OUR BROTHER.
Staying away from sins, reading and memorizing the Holy Quran, doing some body excersise, sleeping at least 8 hours, having positive thinking, being humorous, eating halal food and worshiping Allah(swt) helps to strength one's memory. I enjoy Kamal's speaches. Alhamdulillah!
This is indeed a fine video posted, one thing the speaker forgot to mention is i believe using a MISWAK, that also strenghtens memory, I am not sure which hadith that is from, but may Allah give us his blessings and lead us to the right path.
How old is he? He said he was studying wit his friend in the 1940s. That can't be right! I think there was a slight blip in his memory when he said that. Let me know how old he is please. Salaam
He was just making fun of his age and how much older he was from the audience, which isn't much but it may have seemed that way to the youth in the audience. Salam
JZK Amazing lecture, highly informative and entertaining. May Allah reward all those that put this beautiful event together and May Allah reward Kamal Al-Mekki Amin.
LOL When I have exams and I'm a bit stressed out, I turn to lectures. It calms me down and it's more beneficial because you get to learn about your deen. This is preparing us for a better and ever lasting exam (Yaum al Qiyamah). Then later I'm more ready for my other study. But insha Allah, the best is reading the Qur'an when stressed. Of course and other days too:)
Subhanallah...amazing advice. Do you have the rest of the lectures from this conference? I would love to listen to Sh Abdulbary, Sh Ibrahim and Sh Said lectures from the conference. Can you could post a video response with these lectures? Jzk
In min 30:35 the speaker tests the audience if they are following him and says: A long time ago I used to study with my friend in teh 1940' ....and nobody from the audience reacts, amzing crowd
Mashallah, He is comfortable to listen to, and I think he has more knowledge to come ...
Hope he will be able to fill some current vacant places since we lost the Great Ahmed Deedat
